Informative and relaxed - Staff were friendly and welcoming . Hugo the Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. Shame it was only for 30 mins. I was also very invited to listen to information about the dresses in the exhibition by Emma. Again, very knowledgeable and passionate. Cafe experience was also very good; made to feel welcome. Definitely recommend the tour, worth the money

Great way to spend an anniversary! - Overall, this was a great way to celebrate our 13th anniversary. It was fun, easy and well organised. Loved our tour of the building. Our guide (Rebecca) was informative and funny and tailored the tour to suit our interests. After our tour we went through the (current) "Endeavour Voyage" exhibition. The dual perspective - indigenous vs European - was well presented, thought provoking and interesting. We enjoyed our complimentary meal at the cafe (nice food and fantastic views) and picked up a couple of fun items at the shop using our discount vouchers. Things to be aware of: 1. Plan your visit and allow enough time. The tour takes an hour. Get there at least 10 minutes early to pick up your vouchers and free book. The cafe is very popular and, depending on numbers, there may be significant delays. Our advice, just sit back and enjoy the views of the city and Lake Burley Griffin. 2. As of April 2021, COVID safety measures are still in place. Visitors 16 and over need to sign in using the "Check In CBR" app. If you want see the featured exhibition, you will need to book a free, timed ticket to assist with social distancing. You can do this on-line or ask the friendly staff at the reception desk. 3. Most of the tour takes place outside. Be aware there is a lot of standing about and taking a hat or umbrella (if required) is advisable. 4. If you have mobility or other issues, contact the museum for assistance. They have a good range of assistive services, including: hearing induction loops, braille maps, accessible parking spaces, etc. They can also provide free loans of mobility scooters and wheelchairs on request.

Scientific future - Our last visit to Questacon a few months earlier left us wanting more. We recently went back there to finish what we had started, to see all that Questacon offered. Despite spending 4 hours in there we had to leave with more exploring still to do. This place is incredible for both young and old. There is so much to see and do and you need a full day to do it justice. There are special areas that can be picked out if time constraints apply and which will still make the visit worthwhile.

Lee our tour guide was very... -
Lee our tour guide was very informative and gave us a good overall understanding of the highlights of the various galleries. Lunch was also good. Even though not included in the tour the exhibition The World in 100 Objects was fantastic. Both the Museums's gift shop and the Exhibition gift shop had some great books and gifts to purchase. Would highly recommend this experience to future visitors to Canberra.

The australian exhibition is awesome, the Korean exhibition irrelevant - About the Korean exhibition I was expecting more about its story, social structure, etc very short explanations about every section and a lot about clothing that are irrelevant. Many souvenirs were over priced and made in China(in Korean Exhibition?). Han Ryu iexhibition falls short of explaining what Korean pop culture is and I was very disapointed..
