Worthwhile, beautiful, safe and thrilling! - We are from Ontario Canada and were in Cancun Feb 19-26 2026 and booked our trip at our resort with our Sunwing Rep Michaelle on our 2nd day. We booked the Zipline + Cenote + All Terrain Vehicle + Waterpark/Waterslide package with open buffet at Excaret in Playa Del Carmen. While the experience was truly amazing, especially the beauty of the cenote and the thrill of zip lining even though I don’t like heights, (but felt safe), we could have been more prepared; for example, if you have an underwater camera pouch you should bring it with you otherwise you pay $30-$40 American for one as you cannot bring your phone as you explore. That said, our group did pay for the group pictures. We were 5 adults and 3 teenagers so the cost divided by 8 was $37 Canadian. The excaret helmet that you wear during your entire day is set up to align with cameras at each activity and in my opinion it’s best to order the group pics. They do prepare you beforehand to bring a towel with you and there are free lockers for your stuff- the key is secured on your wristband the entire day. We were picked up at 7:30am and returned just after 6pm. The food was good at the huge buffet. We ate there twice. Mix of Mexican and Canadian/American food. You may have a bit of a wait when using the change rooms. We saw a monkey on our way in and I was able to video a Mexican groundhog in the late afternoon. It was hungry!! Cute thing! I didn’t buy anything at the souvenir store—way too expensive. I bought souvenirs when our group went to town on a different day. Bring tip money for your tour guides on the bus. Some are better than others. Our guide on the way there was very informative but that’s where they tell you things you wish you would have known before leaving your resort! I wore open —toed sandals but you’re best to wear closed-toed sandals. Many people wore Crocs. Overall I think we overpaid a bit for the excursion but we were able to get it down in price a little bit after our Rep made a call to her manager. One thing to note for the Ziplining, once you’re there, you can choose to do 2 courses. We chose the 7 ziplines (higher & longer) over the 3 zip lines (shorter and not as high). Get ready to walk up many stairs but on some of them you can take in amazing views! Some are singles some are paired up on the zip lines. As for the waterslide, to me, it’s the biggest one known to man, and I can’t believe I took part!! Must be 4 people on a tube for weight distribution and it was THRILLING whether frontwards or backwards!!!! Where you end up at the end is beautiful but we didn’t stay long. They say it’s a wavepool but it wasn’t on when we were there. I only wish I would have had my camera in the cenote so I could have taken more pictures of that crystal blue water! I drove the all-terrain vehicle and that was fun! You go at least 4 kms. Get ready for splashes especially if you’re not afraid to press on the pedal! There are some water stations in a couple of the activities but not all are in working order. We went on a very cloudy day with bursts of sunshine and we thought that was best otherwise it would have been too hot. Wearing your bathing suit all day is a must / with a cover or loose shorts. Overall a great experience. Go and enjoy the day there! Next time I’d love to see an outdoor cenote! -Julie P -London ON Canada

Exploring new activities - It was a great experience for us to do some exciting activities. We booked it with Erick Almazo. Transportation was on time and food could be served with more options.

Very Good - It was a great time, at the Royalton Riviera Maya Jonathan helped me out a lot. When my mom got sick he helped me book another trip the next day to make up for the missing person. He made everything very easy and overall I had a great experience.

Fantastic Family Day with NexusTours – Ask for Michaelle & Roberto! - We had an incredible experience booking our excursion through NexusTours. Michaelle and Roberto were absolutely excellent—they were professional, organized, and gave us detailed information so we knew exactly what to expect. Michaelle even went above and beyond by providing her phone number in case we had any questions or concerns during our trip. Our family chose the ATV, Cenote, and Zipline excursion in Cancun, and it was a blast! The kids especially loved the thrill of driving the ATVs and going fast through the trails. The excursion ended with a thrilling zipline right into a cenote. It was a lot of fun for the whole family! Thank you, Michaelle and Roberto, for making sure everything was perfect and ensuring we had a fantastic experience. We highly recommend booking with them!

Excellent trip and great value for money - Really great day out and well looked after by all the staff. Great day out with plenty of action to offer. It’s a trip not to be missed out on and I’d highly recommended it to anyone. If you miss out on this you’re a fool and have missed out on a great experience that Cancun has to offer.
