The guide was wonderful,... - The guide was wonderful, and I loved the double-decker bus. It was nice to get out of the hotel zone for a while.

We highly recommend this trip! - Everything about this trip was great! The guide on our tour was very informative and friendly. We were picked up at our hotel and the time they told us and brought back after the tour was over. We enjoyed the trip and recommend it!♥️

Seeing Cancun through the eyes of a local - I enjoyed the tour visiting the archeological museum learning about the Mayan people. The tour guide also gave us an extensive overview of the history of Cancun and other parts of Mexico such as Isla Mujeres. The history surrounding the Mayans and Isla Mujeres was interesting. He also had a good sense of humor. We got to see all of Cancun in an air-conditioned van :). Towards the end of the tour, we went to the markets to buy souvenirs. I found some reasonable prices in the plaza la fiesta market. We also stopped at Playa delfines (dolphin beach).

The Good, The Bad & The Bites - The tour was fun, I loved the double decker open bus. We had a small group which was great and made questions/answers easier. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery along the trip. El Meco was fascinating - however don't forget bug repellent. Our driver gave us some, however for some reason the bugs still got to me. The 2 stops at the shopping areas were way too long in my opinion. At Plaza 28, I felt bombarded by the person trying to sell me stuff I didn't want. I can purchase those items anywhere in Cancun, I didn't need to be there for almost an hour. Same with the Plaza La Fiesta - The chocolate tasting/tequila tasting - was the highlight of the stop if you wanted to buy, but we stayed way too long, and everything was overpriced. You could walk a half a block away and buy the same items for less. And, unfortunately our stop at the Playa Delfines which was supposed to be 30 minutes was reduced to stop on the highway to take a picture from the BUS of the CANCUN sign with other people in it (good thing I am okay at editing photos). And, that was the stop I was looking forward to most.

Disappointing Excursion - The only part of the tour worth seeing was Zona Arqueologica El Meco. The rest of the trip were stops at shopping places to buy souvenirs and nothing else around those areas, so you sit there for 45 minutes waiting for the next stop. The bus was empty yet they still ran out of beverages. I had high hopes, but when they arrived 45 minutes late, that was a sign for what they next 5 hours was going to be like...

Sadly not worth the money which included a pick up - The tour guide Tony, driver and assistant were all great. 2 shopping stops which was an accurate description of the tour but sadly I have rated the tour as 2 because so much time is spent on the tour bus dropping people off to various hotel location. As Cancun is such a young area there is no history or much to look at. I can not recommend this tour.

Don't bother - Our tour guide, Tony and driver were wonderful, we were given great knowledge about Cancun and its history. The rest was a waste of time and money. Rather than going on the double decker open air bus like advertised we were crammed into a van. The staff at the first shopping stop were SO pushy. The second stop for the chocolate tasting, tequila museum and tasting, shouldnt even be advertised. The museum is legit a 2 min thing, and there was no tequila samples. The chocolate samples were the most tiny things, with no presentation to explain what you were trying. I will say now, save your money and find something elae to do.
