No better location for diving - Hands down the best scuba around.
Gabby was the most accommodating and did everything. All we did was show up and dive in some of the best diving conditions around. Will always recommend this scuba business and will be back soon.

Amazing adventure with an outstanding instructor!! - I am so sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. This was an amazing experience with great guides. We were a mixed group of certified divers and first timers on a wedding outing. I was a first timer and had issues with my ears. The instructor stuck by me and checked on me regularly. I felt very safe and was able to enjoy the whole experience. Amazing!!!!

Best experience - Hello Future travellers to Cancun anD Riviera Maya.
Just want to let you guys that this is one of the best customer service on a diving guides and tours shop.
My family are frequent divers and one of my cousin is a beginner, we have experience a lot of dive master’s and guides but scuba total is the best!
From booking, to customer service, to professionalism! Plus keeping us safe all time!

Fabio is the best dive instructor - Great dive experience, Fabio is the best dive instructor, he is very patient. When we were very scared when we first went down, he would hold our hands until we weren't scared. He's gonna shoot us a video, a really good video.

Great - Very nice experience! It was the first scuba diving experience for my boyfriend and I. We were a bit nervous the first time descending; Fabio took it slow for us and we did much better the second dive. The second day was with Aldo, we went down to 10-12 meters in minutes which was awesome! Both Fabio and Aldo are very nice, patient and supportive.
Got out PADI OW certificate in one and half days. Great experience!

It was so nice that all the scuba diving instructors were kind. - I had the best experience of my life. I saw various kinds of aquatic creatures and sculptures in the ocean and they were cool and beautiful. The best diving instructor, Aldo, taught me very kindly. If I go to Cancun again in the future, I really want to go there.

Responsive, Professional, Great Diving! - I did two days of diving in/around Cancun: a two tank cenote with Rafa, and a two tank outer reef (I cannot for the life of remember my divemaster’s name, but he was great!).
First, Gaby was very responsive and accommodating, even with last minute plans on my end. She responded to texts within minutes and was available by voice as well. She will get you the dives you want, when you want!
For the morning cenote dives, Rafa was perfectly on time, more knowledgeable about the cenotes than I could’ve asked for, and an extremely confidence inspiring guide. He had great tips and shared many best practices with our group (only two of us so it was almost like a mini clinic). He had sandwiches and snacks for us post diving, and I’ll definitely be looking to book with him again when I take my kids.
The outer reef dives were also amazing. There were two groups on the boat, one who had a private guide for hunting lionfish, and then just me and a guide to simply drift dive the reef and enjoy the scenery, so again, basically a private tour. My guide was very knowledgeable here as well, and found some really interesting marine life for us; rays, eels, lionfish, myriad schools of various fish were present on the reefs we visited.
Both divemasters fully briefed each phase of the dive, and were available for any and all questions or concerns. It was truly one of my favorite guided experiences and can’t wait to get back with my family!

Exciting Trip! - Exciting trip! Gaby is so nice that she will schedule your daily diving plan and give reasonable suggestions. You can just email her and ask whatever you are concerning about. I spent 3 days on OW study with Aldo, and 2 days completing the AOW course with Fabio and Rafa. Aldo is a very patient, positive and energetic person. He taught me diving knowledge, guided me to complete the exam, and he could drive my emotions well and make me very excited about diving. If you have never been here, you might can't imagine that the color of the sea is a surprising emerald blue! We went to the underwater museum on the first day and saw some corals in the shallow water. The sea was very warm and clear. But unfortunately I didn't take motion sickness medicine so I got wave sickness. If you always get motion sickness, please remember to take motion sickness medicine in advance! Captain Tony is very nice. He took care of me when I threw up on the boat and helped me feel less uncomfortable. I prefer to go diving at a depth of ~18 meters or deeper. We met a super big manta ray in an OW class with Aldo, and also met a group of six manta rays in a wreck dive with Fabio! ! ! So exciting! Fabio even found a ray laying in the sand a few meters away!! Amazing! He also took some videos and photos for us. When I got home, I edited these videos clips into one video. I always open it and reminisce about the blue sea water, brightly colored fish and corals of various shapes. The cavern diving with Rafa is also a wonderful experience. There is astonishing light inside. Although it is not allowed to take pictures inside, you will never forget the wonderful scenery once you have seen it. Rafa is also a very knowledgeable person. We talked about the impact of environmental changes on corals in recent years. You can learn a lot through the dialogue with him.

Fabio and Gaby, a winning team - Absolutely OUTSTANDING! Fabio is an INCREDIBLE instructor. He was the absolute highlight of my trip. He is a clear teacher, patient, and very kind.
I panicked the first time I went underwater in the pool and by the time I reached the ocean I was comfortable and able to do the skills with confidence! Whatever you do, schedule your scuba diving experience with Total Scuba.
Gaby makes the whole process so easy, she does an outstanding job keeping in touch and coordinating all the elements. We had to make adjustments due to the weather and Gaby was always on top of it with communication and scheduling.
We got to go to the museum and see the reefs right away! Just incredible. I will remember this for the rest of my life!
Do not do your scuba diving at the hotel! Use Total Scuba!

Friendly staff and good diving instructor - Let's start with reservation first. Gaby is very responsive to the emails I sent. She gave very prompt response to all my questions. She provides accurate information and constantly checked with me to see whether I have further questions.
The diving instructor is also very friendly. He gave clear instructions about what to do in the training pool. The training was not very intensive, but enough to get us diving. When we were diving in the spots, the view in the ocean bottom is amazing. Everyone should go there and see for themselves. My wife had some trouble in balancing and going in the direction she wanted. The instructor held her hands and dived with her so that she could enough the view.
Overall it is a very good experience.
