Right. - I travelled with my parents from Barcelona (spending 5 nights in NY) and we are quite satisfied with the experiences. The two guides are very attentive, although I believe that being a bilingual tour (Spanish/English) they do not take advantage of historical explanations as much as they must be reduced to be able to explain them simultaneously in two languages. It doesn’t seem right that you don’t give any snacks or drinks before the meal, because if you don’t bring them yourself, it’s mandatory to buy them at exorbitant prices in Chichen Itza because of the very hot weather. And I wasn’t convinced that the drinks weren’t included during the meal when selling the pack as an all-inclusive. And finally, I also didn’t like the repeated insistence on tips, but it seems to be common in this region of the country. Despite everything, the early morning was certainly worth it!

Extra charges and mismanagement - The day before departure we were asked to pay an extra charge for how far the hotel was even though when we made the reservation we clearly indicated that our hotel was in port adventures. In the morning the pickup went well but on the return we were repositioned with another group instead of returning to who we went in the morning that was the right fit. And we spent more than 1h walking around Playa del Carmen without anyone explaining why even though we asked everyone to account

LOUSY. - They make an unnecessary stop at a gallery to shop. The gallery has the prices for heaven. But the problem is that they give more time in the gallery and the restaurant than in the cenote. In the cenote only give an hour, you have to rent vest , locker and give yourself a bargain before entering, by the time you finish you barely have time to enter the water. We were literally 2 minutes in the water. Also, guide Jimmy (Jaime) was very rude, they wanted to charge us the entrance of a child under 3 years old when on TripAdvisor says that the child does not pay. We explained and he was very rude and insistent about payment even though we did not refuse to do so. We just asked to be checked with the app. The food is not bad but it is not the best either. Overall, LOUSY. It is better to rent a car and go on your own.
