A hidden gem with an excellent guide - We came to Ek Balam because Chatgpt, because of our traveler profile, suggested it. You weren't wrong. We saw that there are few tours here, it is a hidden gem. We thought the work of Freddy the guide and Wilfredo was great. They wouldn't sell us anything like on so many excursions. Freddy is a very cultured, dynamic and practical person. His explanations were based on facts with historical evidence, not speculation. He didn't lecture us like other guides, he treated us like adults with great respect. The place where we had lunch, Chichikan, far superior to other excursions. The beautiful cenote is not very big. Huayma we really liked. Fully recommended. It was a pleasure.

Great tour - The Ek-Balam ruins were beautiful, fascinating and really enjoyable. Our guide, Kahuil, was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. The only issue was the connections/transfers from Playa del Carmen to the ruins, since it took hours and different buses to get there. The great guide and the fascinating places (Ek Balam, Chichikan and Uayma village) made us enjoy the tour and forget the issues with the transportation.

Best trip I've ever taken - Jesus, Moses and Alex were our guides and driver during this trip. They were all absolutely wonderful, skilled and welcoming. Jesus is the most knowledgeable guide I've ever had. The trip itself was fantastic. The acropolis was awesome. Climbing it, plus the view of the jungle, was an experience we won't forget. The lunch at Chichikan was so good and the cenote was gorgeous. Uayma, the churches, the traditions, the people - everything was more than I expected. Go see it all. You won't regret it.

One for the books ! - Abel, Kico, Mildre, and Donny were excellent! This was my first time out of the country, and the time I had here was nothing short of amazing far beyond my expectations. With everything going on in the world right now, I definitely felt safe and well taken care of. Truly unforgettable!
