We had a fantastic experience on this excursion. - Great time. After being picked up from our hotel we were taken to Marina where we boarded our catamaran "Greuze". We were met by our guide "Julio number 9", captain "Pancho" and sailors Isabella and Charlie. After a brief introduction and explanation of the ship we were offered drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Julio kept music playing and interacting with the guests. There was a stop to allow snorkeling at the coral reef, it was encouraged to sit out the snorkeling if you were not a strong swimmer. From there we arrived at Isle Mujeres and were shown where we would have access to the buffet and drinks as well as the beach. There were also opportunities to explore the island on foot or via a rented golf cart. While walking the shops we were approached multiple times by people claiming to be our waiter or bartender from the resort who were just trying to get our attention for a sale. We would recommend trying to hide or obscure your bracelet from your resorts.

Excellent - I don’t normally write reviews, but I think it might be helpful for some. Especially when trying to find activities in another country. I booked this for my friend’s bachelorette trip. We had so much fun. The trip included drinks and food, snorkeling, and time in isla mujeres. The drink service aboard started immediately, which was awesome. The first activity was snorkeling. This was a guided experience, so the guide took us exactly where the fish and statues were. Then we went to isla mujeres to have lunch. the lunch was a buffet style lunch at one of the restaurants in the island. i was not expecting this. it was a very complete meal, so we didn’t have to purchase any additional food in our time there. We had more than enough time to enjoy the island as well. I also booked the tour that included pick up. the tour coordinator was very communicative through whatsapp, to ensure we were being picked up on time and from the correct location. Overall, I highly recommend this. It was a very fun and complete experience. I will note that everyone in my group spoke Spanish, so I don’t know if not knowing the language affects the experience at all, but it didn’t seem to, all of the guides spoke English.

Highlight - I rarely make an effort to write a review. However this trip has been a highlight of our trip. I've been to Mexico many times and all trips have great. On this ono the journey was the mark rather the destination which was also fantastic it's not my first time on the boat or wonderful island but the crew made it too notch. If I was to summerize this long rant would be thank you.

Good tour - Hello the excellent tour had a great time, I totally recommend it, the food well, the attention and everything wonderful. The only complaint I have is that the tour is not inclusive. I have autism and I am accompanied by my service pet, and when one of the crew of a ship (one who puts a cloth on his head) arrived, he put a lot of fear with my pet, told me that the island was not petfriendly, that I could NEVER take it out of the backpack, but the military would remove it, which generated a lot of anxiety and I was about to suffer a panic crisis during the journey. Arriving on the island, all friendly, lots of people with dogs and no problems this person had told me about. Everything else was perfect. Thank you!!!

Fun day - The Grueze family boat and staff were wonderful. The catamaran ride alone was worth the price. I would have liked a better snorkeling experience but the spot was where everyone stops. It was a fun day.

Not worth the money. - The snorkeling is for only about 20 mins before you get to the island. They bring you to a tourist trap where they ripped me off $350 for 2 small bottles of tequila. They wrapped the bottles up so fast I wasn’t able to examine them but they were not what they said they were. I would say the boat ride was nice but taking a fairy over and exploring on your own would be much better. If you’re interested in the snorkeling part, find a different tour. Would not recommend. Not worth the money. The Black Pearl where the boat brings you is a total rip off. Avoid at all cost.

Catamaran - We should go snorkeling, which we haven't. We should have known that the bracelet to have free consumption was only valid for 2 hours and the duration on the island was 4 hours. Otherwise it was a beautiful day.

DO NOT BOOK THIS. Messy, unorganized waste of time or a cash grab. - Just don’t bother, it’s a huge waste of time and money to be herded around like cattle on an overcrowded boat. Our itinerary said we’d be dropped off at a marina approx 10 miles from where we were actually dropped off, and when I say dropped off we were kicked out of the van at a random restaurant and given no guidance of where to go or what to do. Eventually figured it out after 10 minutes. The snorkeling is a woeful experience for about 15 minutes, super rushed. You’re then herded over to what can honestly only be deserved as a miserable ‘beach club’ (it’s a nasty buffet and a bar that serves you 4oz beers and then kicks you out). It’s packed because they send about 500 people to the beach club all at once so don’t bank on finding any sun loungers. The boat staff are basically useless, with all due respect they know they’re working for a cash grab so the don’t care at all. Don’t expect any recommendations on what to do on the island… On our return, our transportation back to the hotel was delayed by around 25 minutes - so while everyone else was on their way back we were stranded at the marina with a poor staff member who had no idea where our driver was. Just an all round, unorganized mess of a company and trip. Save your money. Take the ferry to Isla Mujeres if you really want to go but I can think of 100 better places to visit near Cancun for a day trip.
