Amazing experience and incredible service - We had a fantastic time with Cancun Sailing aboard the Salomé last week! The whole trip was beautiful and so well organized. We also purchased photos from the onboard photographer, but unfortunately left the photo package at the hotel by mistake. I reached out to Cancun Sailing, and Gilberto went above and beyond — he checked with the driver and the photographer and was able to connect me with Jorge. Jorge kindly followed up via email and sent us the digital copies of our photos. Their help meant so much to us! Huge thanks to Gilberto, Sascha and Jorge for the outstanding service and for helping us keep these memories. Highly recommend Cancun Sailing for both the experience and their exceptional customer care

Amazing excursion - Excellent outing and great fun, Grace's attention was amazing. The catamaran snorkeling we really liked and the crystal clear beaches of Isla Mujeres impressed us. During the boat trip there was open bar, animation and good music.

Don’t miss this excursion!! - This was a fantastic time! Staff was amazing and made sure we had the most enjoyable time on our excursion. We were able to stop 3 times to get in the water and snorkel/swim. I can’t wait to bring my kids back next time!

Catamaran ride to Isla Mujeres - We booked this excursion through our hotel . The entire staff at Cancun sailing was wonderful from the beginning of our trip until the end. We were on the boat MALUBE . It is a small boat a very intimate experience with only 20 or so people on board. We did not need a huge party boat, where there was dancing.. which we saw plenty of!!! The ride on the catamaran was delightful, relaxing, drinks were flowing freely, the staff made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. We stopped in the middle of the bay to snorkel, which was absolutely amazing. We did about 30 minutes worth of snorkeling. I wish we could’ve done more. We went to the island of Isla Mujeres for lunch and we were there for three hours which in my opinion was far too much time. The island is very touristy and very small. There is only one road. It is very hot very dry and it is hard to escape the sun. The next time I go to Cancun, I will look for a sailing and snorkeling excursion only. The staff on board the MALUBE made our entire day a memory we will never forget!!!

Very misleading tour... - I am a fairly fit 63 year old... I still swim most everyday when i'm not working... I am an active flight attendant and I can evacuate a plane... Once we got on the boat a very condescending crew member.Asked me my age and said that because of my age I would not be allowed to snorkel.... There were many other passengers on our boat. That were overweight and nothing was said about their health condition or their ability to swim.Or snorkel.... I found it to be very prejudiced against someone's age and had nothing to do with their swim ability.... We were told nothing about this when we booked this tour... The lunch was not great... After we had the lunch , we were made to get back on the boat and go to a shopping area where there was no beach to access.... We were told that we would have a choice of being at a private part of the island or going to shopping , but that was definitely not the case.... We did tip the crew because most of them were very nice and I realize that they work for tips but I would definitely not book with this company again... In fact, I feel like we should be given part of our money back.It was that bad.... Oh. Also where they had you Check-in there were hundreds of people being shoved through like a cattle car operation. There was nothing personalized about the experience... It was awful...

Long Excursion - We booked this as a large group (there were 16 of us). We paid in advance and got to the marina and it took 90 minutes for us to get through the secondary line to get tickets to then get on a boat. We had to wait in the same line as people who did not book and pay ahead. They definitely could be more transparent about the ticketing process and potential waits. The boat tour was nice, the guides were super friendly and the drink service was great. I did not go snorkeling, as the water was pretty rough, but those that did enjoyed. Traveling to the island was beautiful and the water is so clear and blue. The lunch at Ice Bar on isla mujeres was not good and wish we could have just spent 2 hours on the second stop (which was the main beach and shopping area). The guides were very helpful and they made the experience more enjoyable. The boat trip lasted longer than advertised.

Could be much better - We book directly through the web the exclusive tour known as Privilege. They were late for the pick up, about 45 minutes waiting. The brochure indicates maximum 25 people, but count about 30 passengers. Snorkeling is good but very fast, no time to enjoy. They offer you select open bar but it is actually regular. They offer you bread and fruit but it's not really effective. There's no veiling at all. They offer exclusive beach club but in reality the beach is public and freely accessible. The buffet restaurant is not the best and they also did not assign the best place to have lunch, the restaurant infrastructure is poor, there are better restaurants on the same beach. They give you an hour and a half to eat lunch and occupy beds on the beach, which, after occupying an hour for lunch, are all occupied. If you want to use restaurant facilities after that time, you are charged extra. From Isla Mujeres, the only good thing is the North beach, the village, nothing interesting that does not already exist in Cancun or Playa del Carmen. The return is quiet, with the possibility of seeing the sunset, but if it is cloudy, nothing spectacular. Remarkable only the attention and care of the staff of the catamaran for attending well to the passengers, is something that is appreciated. In short, we had more expectations with the tour, but it was not fulfilled, however, it still has the possibility of being much better.

Not worth what it costs - We hire the Privilege Experience tour for three people. They pick up at the hotel bound for Cancun from where the catamaran sets sail. In our catamaran we were about 30 people. In sailing they do not let you be inside the catamaran, or even leave the bags or backpacks. Always on the outside. They indicated, without further explanation, for security reasons, something absurd. There is an open bar in the catamaran on the way back, but the quality of the alcohol is very mediocre. From the beginning we had a delay in departure of 30 minutes. A person in a wheelchair could not access the boat, even with the help of the crew. They referred the passenger to another catamaran along with her family. 15 minutes sailing we were taken to snorkel in an area between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. The goal was to see some underwater figures. There were about 8 or 10 catamarans at that same point and about 200 people in the water trying to see these figures about 5 meters deep. It turned into chaos. You didn't know what your catamaran was and the guides screaming and calling their group. The sea was rough. After 20 minutes sailing we arrive at a beach club next to Playa del Norte for lunch. Nothing special. It was a buffet. Rice with chicken and some salad. Very mediocre quality. Much better the hotel buffet. When you finish eating you are invited to leave as the next group comes. Afterwards, take a tour of Isla Mujeres for approximately 2 hours. In the afternoon, the return by catamaran to Cancun is the most beautiful and I think the only thing worth the experience. Sailing and seeing the contrasts of the Caribbean Sea. On the way you get pictures taken during the journey. On the way back they try to sell them at an exorbitant price. We arrive at the port of Cancun and transfer you as a group to your hotel. They stop at different hotels by minibus of about 12/15 people. Spectacular traffic jam. It took about 3 hours to get to ours (near Playa del Carmen). Conclusion. It's not worth it. The only beautiful thing is the sailing between Cancun and Islas Mujeres. The rest isn't worth it.

Dañaron nuestro coche y el dueño se esconde, They damaged our car and the owner is hiding. - Dañaron nuestro coche y el dueño se esconde. Desplázate abajo para ver la historia completa en Español. The valet drivers intentionally damaged our car and others, and the owner refuses to take any responsibility. We booked a boat tour to Isla Mujeres. They told us parking was safe and easy for 200 pesos. On arrival, chaos: one guy said 400 pesos for valet, then another said 300. No structure, no clarity — but we went along, already running late. When we came back, our rental car was parked directly against a metal fence, visibly hit. Every car in the row was parked the same careless way. Our bumper was scratched and dented. Staff shrugged it off and told us to return the next day. Next day: no owner. After pushing, we got his number. First he denied the valet guys worked for him, even though they wore Cancun Sailing uniforms and handled cars under the company’s name (see photos). Then he claimed the damage was pre-existing — until we showed him photos proving otherwise. When that failed, he said it could be fixed for 500 pesos ($25 USD). Right… not even in Mexico will anyone repaint a bumper for that. He promised to “meet and solve it” but kept postponing — then ghosted us completely. So we handled it ourselves with the rental agency. If the owner had any decency, this would’ve been resolved in 5 minutes. But instead, he chose to lie, deny, and run. Unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong tourist. We’re sharing this all over the internet, with full evidence. He didn’t just damage cars — he destroyed his own reputation.
