The group size is capped at 10 to ensure a personalized experience. After a brief five-minute boat ride, reach the first destination: a well-preserved coral reef teeming with fish and marine life. With calm, warm waters that are only 8-12 feet (2.5-3.5 meters) deep, this snorkeling site is ideal for all skill levels.

Best Snorkeling Experience! - My boyfriend and I had the best time on this snorkeling tour! Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of our guide and photographer, but our captain was Emilio and they were all amazing! We stopped 5 times at different locations and saw turtles, fish, coral reefs, and a really cool shipwreck. I am not 100% comfortable in the ocean, but our tour guide was great about ensuring everyone had a comfortable and fun experience.
I was a bit worried about the pickup/dropoff after reading some other reviews, but our experience was very smooth. The driver was a bit later than the expected pickup time, but you have to understand that the drivers are making stops at multiple hotels- he was very friendly nonetheless.
The professional photos were a little out of my price range, but they were beautiful. However, we did get 2 copies of a welcome photo that were included!
I definitely recommend this experience!

Excellent experience! As good as Belize or GBR. - As background I snorkeled the Belize barrier reef in 2022 and Australia's Great Barrier Reef in 2023. This experience was easily as good as these more famous options. Lots of marine life to see and lots of support from Daisy and the crew. You have to swim as a group for safety reasons (lots of boats in the area), but you can optionally use lightweight life vests that allow you to dive deeper.

Wonderful crew with amazing ocean experience. Eco-friendly sunscreen is highly recommend here 🥹 - I forgot my guide’s name but they’re amazing! 🥰 The tour guide is a young men with blue tight snd shorts 🩳 and the photographer is black long hair with black fins 🏊 and the boat captain is senior with glasses and curly short hair. 🚤
I want to send my greatest gratitude to the crew that this experience was amazing! And everything goes so smoothly and I felt our security and comfort was well taken care of. I enjoyed it a lot!
I also liked how they promoted being eco-friendly! By using ocean-friendly sunscreen we should be able to avoid the damage for the ocean! 🌊

Fun and Unique Experience - Such a fun experience - you should try it! Saw groups of fishes, colorful, variety of sizes, corals, see grasses, sea turtles... unique experience snorkeling in the sea!! I don't know how to swim in the sea before. With the facilities and safety jacket provided and professional instructor, it's easy to learn.

Great small group snorkel trip. - Would recommend for those comfortable in the water. It was nice that it was a small group. We saw turtles, a ship wreck, some under water status. A good day.

Great experience - Really loved the snorkel experience. Seamless pick up at hotel. Dock check in was organized. I opted for the professional photography service which I highly recommend. Daisy was a great guide. We went to four spots and each had unique marine life. My friend’s first time snorkeling and she did it with ease- although traversing in and out of the boat does take a decent amount of strength. The water was very clear and warm enough. Be sure to bring a towel and change of clothes. Rudimentary showers are located at the dock- just enough to rinse off the salt water.

Good organization, great guide, colder than expected - We had a rainy, cloudy day, so the transfer through the flooded streets was a bit lengthy. Driving outside the hotel zone shows Cancun from a completely different side.
At Total Snorkel everything was very well organized. The snorkeling itself has met our expectations. Our group at the boat was small and the guide “Pineapple” took a lot of time. We had just arrived from an 11 hour flight and were actually too tired for the tour. We recommend to make the tour more rested and on a nice day, as you are wet and freezing in the murky weather on the boat between individual stops.

While the guides... - While the guides themselves were lovely - we unfortunately had low visibility and windy/wavy weather. We tried to keep going, but some of us went back to the marina half way through. Disappointed that the weather did not work for us and we couldn’t reschedule as we were leaving the next day. We would have lost the money regardless.
