For this activity, participants will complete a medical questionnaire about their health. Following this, they will receive a basic theory lesson and pool practice to learn essential scuba diving skills, all under the guidance of an experienced and qualified instructor. Afterward, participants will board a boat to the dive sites for two tank dives: the first at MUSA Underwater Museum and the second at Manchones Reef. The return to the dock will be at the same location as departure.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW: - Individuals with asthma, heart or brain conditions, high blood pressure, lung lesions, diabetes, epilepsy, or any surgery within the past year are not permitted to dive unless they provide a medical authorization signed by their physician.
- It is important to rest for 18-24 hours after diving before flying.
- Bring ID, towels, a swimsuit, and any other personal care items you may need.
- As the activity takes place on a boat, it is recommended to take anti-nausea pills 1-2 hours before boarding for best results.
- Participants must know how to swim for this activity.

- Individuals with asthma, heart or brain conditions/surgeries, high blood pressure, lung issues, diabetes, epilepsy, or recent minor surgeries (within the last year) are not permitted to dive unless they provide a medical authorization signed by a physician specializing in their condition.
- Remember to rest for 18 - 24 hours after diving before flying.
- Participants must know how to swim and be able to perform scuba skills in the water. If unable to do so, diving will not be permitted for safety reasons, and refunds are not available as the service is provided.
- People with asthma, heart or brain problems, high blood pressure, lung lesions, diabetes, epilepsy, or any surgery less than 1 year are not allowed to dive, unless you bring a medical authorization signed by a physician who specializes in your disease.
- Keep in mind you need to rest between 18 - 24 hours after diving before take an airplane
- For this activity people must know how to swim, also consider for this activity you need to perform scuba skills in the water if you are not able to do it, you can not dive for safety reasons, there is not refund back for these reasons, as the service is provided
- As the activity is from a boat, we suggest take anti-nauseas pills, 1 or 2 hours before getting on the boat for best effects.
- Sunscreen/sunblock are not allowed for coral protection
- Children must be a minimum of 10 years old and maximum age 65 years old

Great pick for 1st time divers. - Awesome adventure. Out guide was patient and very clear in his instructions when on our dive. He took the time to make sure we were all good, safe and seeing as much as we could. Would highly recommend.

Most Spectacular Excursion of Cancún - This was by far our most beloved Cancún excursion for our honeymoon. Very thorough instructions & great practice time in the pool getting acclimated to the equipment. The two dives are AMAZING we saw a nurse shark, octopus, sting rays, morale eel, puffer fish, and an assortment of tropical fish. It was the most memorable activity for our whole trip. The crew is so helpful and very well organised. You feel well looked after to just enjoy your scuba time. I have recommended this excursion & A’ha scuba to everyone we meet.

Fabulous experience for newbies!!! - Had a fabulous diving experience with Marin. He went thru all the essential info clearly and patiently answered all my questions and told me all the tricks i needed to know before my first dive!!!
He knows the area well enough and showed me many beautiful hidden creatures. He ensured i’m doing okay thru out the 2 dives! 💯 recommended.

Fun Experience! - We had such a fun time doing this! Carolina and Marin were so friendly and knowledgeable! The different sites were super neat and we saw so much cool marine life! The only thing is the training session was fairly short (I understand staying on schedule due to the boat, other people, etc.) but my boyfriend had never scuba dived before so unfortunately he wasn’t comfortable doing it in the ocean so he sat in the boat while I went. Other than that, I had a great experience and some amazing photos!

Amazing Scuba Diving Experience. - We went for the beginner scuba diving experience. Our instructor and support team were friendly, funny and highly experienced. We started off with training in the swimming pool, which was very helpful and our instructor was patient. Once we were ready we went to the open water sites. The sites were beautiful and had fascinating sea life which our instructor was pointing out. Even in the open water our instructor was there with us every moment and made sure we were safe and comfortable. If you are a beginner and want to have this experience A'HA scuba diving is the place for you. Thank you Lorena, Marin & Carolina!!

I swam with a turtle ! - As a first time scuba diver I had so much fun. We did two dives, one at the museum and the other at the coral reef. My instructor (I forgot her name) was from Argentina, she was so friendly and patient. I was so scared and had so much anxiety but she was very patient with me and even in the water she triple checked on us to make sure we were good. I have the best videos and photos. I wish I could upload the video we have swimming with a turtle. It was such a great experience.
