- Banff Legacy Trail - The journey will take place on the Legacy Trail, which follows a former Seaboard Railroad path between Venice and Sarasota. Starting at the Historic Venice Train Depot, the initial third of the route to Oscar Scherer State Park offers the most picturesque and varied scenery.
- Banff - The cycling route will lead into Banff, a charming resort town in Alberta, nestled within Banff National Park. The skyline is dominated by the majestic peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains.
- Bow Falls - There will be a stop to capture photos at Bow Falls, a significant waterfall on the Bow River in Alberta, located just before its confluence with the Spray River. These falls are near the Banff Springs Hotel and golf course, on the left side of River Road.
- Canmore - The starting point is Canmore, with a cycle route leading to Banff. Canmore is a town in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, west of Calgary, renowned for its rugged peaks like the Three Sisters and Ha Ling Peak.
- Mount Rundle Viewpoint - The route will pass by Mount Rundle, a mountain in Canada’s Banff National Park that overlooks the towns of Banff and Canmore, Alberta.
- Canmore Engine Bridge - The cycling path will pass the Engine Bridge en route to the designated Food Stop.
- Policeman’s Creek Boardwalk - The path will go through Policeman’s Creek wetland ecosystem, offering stunning photo opportunities in every direction, a perfect creek-side picnic spot, and a glimpse into some of Canmore’s oldest history.
- Bow River Loop - The cycling route includes a ride along the scenic Bow River.
- Policeman Creek Trail - The cycling will take place in Spring Creek, located in the heart of downtown Canmore, surrounded by two mountain streams, with peaceful streamside pathways leading into the downtown area, where a variety of mountain cuisine and unique shopping experiences await.

On the Food Bike Tour, we’ll cycle to two local food stops, spending about 40 minutes at each to learn their stories and enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences. Our food stops will be a breakfast sandwich with Bella Crusta in Canmore and a 3-course lunch at Waldhaus from the Fairmont. The menu is chef curated and the food portions are substantial (not tasters). As we bike between these locations, we’ll take in views of the Mountains, Bow River, Banff, engine bridge , Canmore & Banff downtown, Mount Rundle, and spring creek.
