Cannonville Historic Grade School Town Park

West Center Street

Travel 8 miles South East from Bryce Canyon National Park on Hwy 12 to Cannonville. Take a right on Main Street and travel two blocks to Cannonville Park. It will be on your right. Your guide will meet you there. They will have a hat the says OCA on it.

Great fun! - Jerry was great! He took our 17 year old grandson on the 2 hour ride up Willis Creek area. Our grandson loved it and remarked Jerry was really “cool”. We definitely will do this again when we are in the area.

2 hr Willis Creek Slot Canyon tour - Jerry is an amazing guide. He is obviously passionate about the land he grew up on. He shares so much knowledge. He went above and beyond what we expected. I hope he and his wife are able to grow their business into the dream they have.

Willis Creek Slot Canyon Tour - Jerry is a fantastic guide - fun and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The Willis Creek Canyon is beautiful and we also saw the Bull Valley Gorge. Highly recommend this tour!

Far beyond what you could imagine. - This experience was absolutely amazing! If you want a ‘tour’ that is so personalized, friendly and brought to you from local experience then this is for you. Jerry is one of the most down to earth ‘real’ people we have ever met. He goes far beyond what ‘tour guide’ would do. ( we been on tours) If you want to experience the slot canyon do not think twice about booking this with Jerry!! You will be blown away.

OCA amazing Slot Canyon Willis Creek Tour - Jerry was an amazing guide with his knowledge of the area. Being raised in the area he had so much knowledge about the geology and history! The scenery was incredible, we took so many photos! The Willis Creek slot canyon tour exceeded our expectations with Jerry's expertise. Worthwhile! - Because we have a low clearance vehicle, we were looking for a tour that could take us off road to enjoy some of the less accessible areas of the northern portion of the Grand Staircase - Escalante. I did some research on Willis Creek and it looked like a lovely area to explore that would be short and easy to traverse for my 74-year-old husband . This tour checked those boxes. Jerry at Open Country Adventures was engaging, informative, and clearly passionate about showing us Willis Creek and Bull Valley Gorge. It's a great hike for young families or older adults.

Great experience - Great experience. Jerry met us at a park in town and took us to the slot canyon explaining the area and what we were seeing along the way. We stopped at a couple of locations and were able to take pictures and get history of the area. Once in the slot canyon Jerry taught us how to use our phones to take amazing pictures of the canyon. Small group made for an amazing day.

Don't miss this! - Our guide, Jerald, was super knowledgable and passionate about this amazing place where he lives and incredibly generous in sharing his love and sense of stewardship with us on this tour. Because of this tour, I was able to visit places far off the main road that I would not have had access to otherwise and I am really grateful for that. His off road vehicle is super comfortable and he takes care of his clients very well. I look forward to him offering tours to other locations in the Grand Escalante.
