The Tasman Glacier, located in Aotearoa New Zealand, is the country’s longest glacier, stretching 27km in length and up to 4km in width in certain areas. Exploring the dynamic ice formations that have shaped this stunning landscape in Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The adventure begins with a breathtaking helicopter ride to the Tasman Glacier, landing at an elevation of 1200m. Participants will embark on a two-hour hike led by professional and experienced guides through impressive glacial ice formations and gently rolling terrain beneath the towering peaks of the Southern Alps. These snow-covered giants loom over expansive icefalls cascading down the mountainsides. As the journey concludes, the return flight offers a view of the Hochstetter Icefall, marking the end of this remarkable adventure.

- Please note: A guided walk among ice caves is usually part of the tour but all tour activities are dependent on the weather

- The maximum allowable weight for a person on a rear helicopter seat is 150kg.
