Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfalls – Nguom Ngao Cave – Overnight in Cao Bang
Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Ban Gioc Waterfall stands as one of Vietnam’s most remarkable natural attractions. Situated in the northeastern province of Cao Bang, the falls reach a height of 30 meters and span 300 meters in width, making Ban Gioc the broadest waterfall in the nation, though not the tallest. The falls are located on the Quay Son River, a stunning jade-blue river that flows from China through a serene landscape of rice paddies and bamboo groves, encircled by limestone peaks. Despite enhanced road access and public transport links, along with the popularity of recent viral drone footage highlighting the falls’ grandeur, Ban Gioc remains a relatively undiscovered gem. Mass tourism has not yet taken hold, and outside of weekends and public holidays, there are typically only a few foreign and domestic visitors.
Nguom Ngao Cave - Nguom Ngao Cave is a natural marvel located in Gun Village of Cao Bang Province in Northern Vietnam, near the Vietnam-China border. This province is celebrated for its breathtaking natural scenery, featuring lush mountains, charming valleys, and captivating waterfalls.
