Citadel Fort Adelaide - Situated on a hill in Port Louis, Mauritius, La Citadelle de Port Louis, or Fort Adelaide, overlooks the capital. Completed in 1840 and named after Adelaide, wife of King William IV, it remains intact, unlike many British-era forts. It symbolizes the end of slavery and the beginning of Indian immigration, constructed by a diverse labor force.

Le Caudan Waterfront - Le Caudan Waterfront is a commercial complex in Port Louis, Mauritius’s capital city. He established a saltpan in 1726 near a small bay in southwest Port Louis, now known as the Robert Edward Hart Garden, located at the entrance to Le Caudan Waterfront.
