Great tour of the local birds - Really great trip. We saw so many different birds, and a really awesome rookery. They have binoculars to borrow if you don't bring your own! I would not consider myself a birder but this was very enjoyable

Informative and Fun - Informative and fun! Captain was very pleasant and accommodating to all on board. When he saw that most of the passengers were interested in birds he made sure to find as many as he could and pointed out many other sights. Very enjoyable, I highly recommend this excursion!

Bird watching on the Osprey boat in Cape May for sightseers or birdwatchers. - Great tour, many diverse birds seen. Captain explained birds and their habits were and brought us up to close to nesting and feeding areas. Supplied binoculars for distance viewing if needed. Covered boat section for those who wanted to stay out of the sun/heat, or could go up front to watch from the deck in the breeze. I would recommend the trip to birdwatchers or just sightseeing.

If You Are Mildly Curious About Birdwatching on Cape May's Back Bay - If you’re even mildly curious about birdwatching, a boat ride on the Osprey will charm you into becoming a knowledgeable birder. We recently had the pleasure of taking one of these tours with Captain Bob at the helm, and we can say with confidence—it was a pleasurable experience. Captain Bob and the Naturalist explained bird sightings, habitats, and migration patterns.

Great birding excursion - The boat ride was amazing, and the naturalist was so informative and interesting. They were flexible in waiting at an osprey nest in hopes we would see them feed their young, and they knew where either birds and their babies were making for a very enjoyable ride. Only bit of warning is the green flies. My party may have worn light colored long sleeves and long pants had we known about these biting flies that were on the boat near some of the marshy areas. It’s not anything they can avoid, but if people know in advance they can wear appropriate clothes. We will definitely go again.
