Embark on a journey to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via one of South Africa’s most picturesque routes, passing through Hout Bay.

Proceed to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where native wildlife and plants are preserved in this invaluable wilderness. The route to Cape Point, located at the southwestern tip of the reserve, is especially beautiful in spring when wildflowers blanket the area. The new lighthouse, the most powerful in the world, projects an electric light of 19 million candle power across the sea.

The lighthouse is easily accessible by foot, and there is a 1.5-hour walk to the Cape of Good Hope.
