• Bo-Kaap - Shortly after the tour begins, before heading to the coast, there will be a chance to stop briefly in the historic Bo-Kaap. Here, you can admire the vibrant houses and learn about the area’s rich history. The guide will lead a walk, allowing for photos and insights into the neighborhood’s past.
• Bantry Bay - Situated at the base of Lion’s Head Mountain, Bantry Bay is a prestigious suburb. Known for its calm weather, it boasts over 250 wind-free days annually, which is significant given Cape Town’s typically breezy climate.

• Duiker Island - The journey includes an hour’s pause at Hout Bay harbor, where you can board a boat for a 40-minute scenic trip to an island home to over 5,000 Cape fur seals. If you prefer not to take the boat, explore the craft market or take a short walk to Hout Bay Beach. Note that this optional excursion may extend the tour by an hour.
• Chapman’s Peak Drive - Departing Hout Bay, the tour continues along the renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive, a marvel of engineering. This 9km road winds along the mountainside, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, cliffs, and sandy beaches. There will be opportunities to stop for photos.
• Noordhoek Farm Village - At the southern end of Chapman’s Peak Drive is Noordhoek Farm Village. The charming whitewashed and thatched buildings house shops offering fresh juices, coffee, baked goods, handmade crafts, and clothing. A brief stop to enjoy these offerings will be available.
• Cape Point Ostrich Farm - Just 200 meters before the Cape Point Nature Reserve is an ostrich farm, where guests can stop to photograph Africa’s largest bird.
• Cape Point Nature Reserve - This reserve is home to the southwesternmost point of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope. With its rich biodiversity, visitors can enjoy the scenery from the vehicle or on foot.
• Cape of Good Hope - Known as the corner of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, the Cape of Good Hope is the southwesternmost point of the continent. Hiking trails to the summit offer excellent opportunities for sightseeing. The iconic Cape of Good Hope sign is a major attraction, and various hiking trails will be suggested by the guide.
• Old Cape Point Lighthouse - Walk or take a funicular (at your own expense) to South Africa’s third-oldest lighthouse for panoramic views of the national park. The lighthouse, operational since 1860, was decommissioned 40 years later due to its high altitude, which posed a hazard to sailors in cloudy conditions. A new lighthouse was built at a lower altitude.
• Simon’s Town - A tranquil and affluent town on the False Bay coastline, Simon’s Town features Victorian architecture and some of the finest seafood restaurants. There may be a stop for lunch here, or at Cape Point, depending on the tour’s progress.
• Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Home to thousands of endangered African penguins, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony offers a chance to walk on the beach and take close-up photos of these charming birds. The guide will provide information on the penguins’ current status.
• Muizenberg Beach - Known as “The Surfers’ Corner,” Muizenberg Beach features brightly colored changing huts, perfect for a photoshoot. If time and traffic permit, this will be the final stop before heading back to Cape Town, concluding a wonderful day of sightseeing.
