The journey commences from the V&A Waterfront at the Sport Helicopter’s helipad.
Upon completion of the tour, you’ll be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly, and transport back to the V&A Waterfront Shopping center is also provided.

- Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 130. will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.

Helicopter Tour - The views of the entire area were amazing. We saw Table Mt and all of the Harbor sights.

Amazing! - Freakin AMAZING!!!! Simone, Milissa, Rieka & Allin you guys are awesome!!!!
I was hesitant as it seemed a bit pricy for advertised time, but it was worth at-least double the amount!

Brill - Just Fabtetric.
The Old Girl was thrilled and our pilot was lovely.
Stunning views, brilliant staff and a glass or 2 of Bubbly after the flight.
Just 2 of us for around £200 each for a 30 min flight but we had 45 mins as we were last of the day.

THE BEST OF THE BEST!! - This is the only company that allows you to experience the helicopter ride even if traveling solo!! This experience was incredibile not only for the helicopter itself but also for the ladies at the reception that have been absolutely wonderful to me. They were nice, polite, funny, and friendly. They got me the best pictures/video and also helped me find the best spa in town!

I would recommend to anybody!!
P.s. I booked with another company the day prior and they canceled last minute. I am so happy I tried again with them!! 💛

Magnifique - It was just magnifique.
The cruise was stable and smooth
Pieter the pilot was excellent and very professional.
We felt safe in his hands.
The helicopter was clean and modern.
The ground staff especially Nats were lovely
The only let down was that the clouds were held in place by the mountains
What an experience.
We'll do it again next year

Golden views Golden moments - An amazing and special experience from the start. From the easy comfortable golf cart transport to Mel and Mo welcoming us to do the easy and relaxed preparations. Obviously safety conscious, the ground staff made sure we were secured and strapped in, and did not mind taking pictures for us, respecting the needs of a tourist. Ryan was a calm and professional pilot balancing the trip with scenery descriptions and relaxed conversation, not more or less than necessary. Despite all this however it was the unique, amazing and breathtaking views and scenery that provided the golden excitement. It is one of those experiences that cannot be properly measured or valued in terms of money or time. Golden moments burnt into memory. Thanks to Robert, Denis, Mel, Mo and Ryan, and all the smiling staff we didn't get the names of!

A wonderful experience, to remember! - What a great experience and what an experience and what a beautiful view so from above.
The pilot Ryan and under the guidance of Mo made it an unforgettable experience.
I can recommend it to everyone when you are in Cape Town to do the tour with this organization.

Scammed by Sport Helicopter V&A - Their agents based at the V&A Waterfront scammed me on 5 May 2025. Making me offers of a specific price for a helicopter/boat ride package (R6600 total). They told me i must pay seperately for the helicopter (6000) and boat (600 for 3 people). This package was negotiated as other companies offered cheaper rates. They agreed that i pay a total of R6600. I arrived at the helicopter and was asked to pay 6600 and i asked them if it was for both the boat and heli. They called the office at waterfront and they told me that it is for both. I paid the 6600 for both. I arrived back to the office and the agent told me to buy my tickets for the boat. This caught meby surprise as wehad agreed on 6600 for both. I was shocked as the reception ladies was present upon initial agreement but chose to be deceptive when i stated that they were there when i made the agreement. People, protect your money. Dont be scammed by these unethical employees of Sport Helicopter at the V&A waterfront
