Previously known as Cape Malay, Bo-Kaap’s history dates back to the 1960s when many huurhuisjes (rental houses) were constructed and rented to slaves, known as Cape Malay, brought from Malaysia, Indonesia, and other parts of Africa to work in the Cape. Bo-Kaap is renowned for its vibrant houses.
- Castle of Good Hope - After visiting Table Mountain, the tour continues to the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest surviving building in South Africa. The itinerary includes various museums, such as District Six and the Jewish Museum (optional), the Greenmarket Square for curios and souvenirs, and visits to beaches like Clifton and Camps Bay, along with other fascinating sites.
