Absolute Must Do - If I could give this tour six stars, I would. Our guide Justin took us to simply amazing restaurants and provided historical context for not just the area and food but stories about the specific locations. Babotie in Bo Kaap and finishing up with honest chocolate and the gin bar were our favorites. This is a real must do for the city, especially near the beginning of your time to get to know the city a little more deeply.

Yummy Educational Tour - Our tour leader was fun, knowledgeable, and gave a great tour. We walked through Bo Kaap and enjoyed learning about the history of Cape Town via its various cuisines. Olivia introduced us to a wine bar with blind tastings that was really fun, and the wines were delicious. Game meat sampling at Marco's was really worth it.

Top culinary experience - Despite the cold and rainy weather, we had an amazing day with Olivia as our guide. We were well taken care of at all of the four stops (despite being vegetarian!) and the choice of each venue ensured that guests received a broad culinary history of this part of the world. Our favourite foods were the babotie, koesisters, chakalaka and umngqusho, and the wines and fynbos infused gin were outstanding, too!

Eat and drink your way through Cape Town - Olivia was our guide and it was a truly excellent tour. Visited a cafe, an authentic African restaurant, a wine tasting, a very interesting sports bar and had a great walk around Bo Ka’ap. Strongly recommended! Note that the tour includes a fair amount of alcohol but non-alcoholic options are easily accessible for those who do not drink.

Nice enough - Olivia was a great tour guide and it was 4 nice stops but this tour is suited more for those who do have alcohol and prefer beef. Although there were dietary requirements sent and it was taken into account to a degree, pricewise it's suited for tourists with open dietary requirements. It was nice enough though, just overpriced and very different to other food tours done.
