A fabulous Independent small Group Tour of Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope. - I can highly recommend Into Tours for organising a group tour of Table Mountain, Cape Point and Boulders beach for the Penguins. I had a group of 15 people who wished to travel as an independent group from a cruise ship berthed in Cape Town. Following on from a successful negotiation about the planned tour, two further groups from the same cruise ship also followed the same itinerary. Cruise ships are notoriously difficult to make independent travel plans for as a late arrival or cancellation of the port can cause difficulty in joining the tour or loss of payments. I approached Into Tours with a view to having a booking that was flexible enough to accommodate the groups needs. I found my contact Janina to be extremely helpful in organising a suitable tour and managing individual payments for each of the tour members. On the day of the tour, the cruise ship was delayed entering Cape Town due to the Pilot Boat braking down and delaying the Pilot boarding the ship for some two hours. Following disembarkation, the group was quickly assembled and met the tour guide Henrik and the driver of the minibus. The minibus was modern and clean and afforded ample space for our group. The weather was not acceptable for a visit to Table Mountain at the start of the day so with the inbuilt flexibility, we proceeded on the rest of the tour past Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles then along Chapman's Peak Drive down to Cape Point. We then travelled to Simonstown, for lunch at Bertha's, which was a little late due to our late start at the beginning of the tour. Following lunch we backtracked a little to Boulders Beach for a visit to the Penguin Colony. Here we received the good news about Table Mountain that the clouds had lifted so we proceeded directly there and ascended in the Cable Car to the top. This was now late in the day as it was 6 pm there were no queues and a fabulous view of Cape Town and the 12 Apostles was obtained from the top. We returned to the ship after 7 pm which was much later than planned, but due to the flexibility of Into Tours, our guide Henrik, and our driver, we completed everything that had been on our itinerary for the day. I must mention that the operations team at Into Tours were fabulous on the day in managing the delays and rescheduling lunch etc. The cruise we were on was a World Cruise and all 15 of the group members consider the day out in Cape Town as one of the highlights of the cruise. Many thanks to Janina and the rest of the team at Into Tours.

Private Tour in Cape Town "Cape Peninsula Point and Penguins" - The highlight of most cruises in the Indian Ocean or Africa ends up in Cape Town, South Africa. If the cruise stays only for a day or 2, it is imperative that a tour in Cape Town must be from locals that are expert in this area. Like in Port Elizabeth, we were very fortunate to engage Into Tours. Janina from Into Tours booked us for a full day Private Tour «Cape Peninsula Point and Penguins». Despite the fact that our cruise ship Norwegian Dawn docked late for an hour and the chaos thereafter when everyone on board wanted to disembark at the same time, Janina made sure that our driver Christian was there for us. After a delay of almost 2 hours, we did the best day-tour ever in South Africa (Camps Bay, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point National Park, Boulders Beach with the African Penguins, Bo-kaap, etc. to name a few). Our driver/guide Christian was like a long lost brother to us. We had a magnificent day and had lunch at the Black Marlin Restaurant, however, the saddest part of the whole day-tour was saying goodbye and farewell after he drove us back to the Port Terminal.

Excellent Introduction to Cape Town & Cape Peninsula - We did a full day comprehensive tour with Jamie. He was an excellent guide very informative and knowledgeable with patience and good humour. He really went out of his was to make our time in Cape town and the surrounding areas feel special. We visited Table Mountain, Boulders Beach where we saw the African Penguins, spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive, Camps Bay, Cape Point. It was an excellent tour and as it was a private tour there was 4 of us, this was flexible and more personalised seeing exactly what we were interested in. I would have no hesitation in recommending Into Tours when you are holidaying in the Cape town or Port Elizabeth area. A special mention also to Nina, whom I dealt with, in organising our tours, she was brilliant, very professional friendly and punctual with queries.

Best Cape Town Tour ever - We had a wonderful day in Cape Town! Have been picked up by the very friendly guide at the cruise terminal and have then seen in a small group very much of Cape Town and the surrounding area! We have been to the penguins, Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope and in Bo Kaap! In between there were several stops at stunning beaches and souvenir shopping! Our guide had an incredible knowledge of the region, the animals and the history! We learned a lot! The tour was the highlight among the excursions!

Great Tour Ruined - Into Tours provided a Cape Town Peninsula tour using a guide from Zimbabwe. The guide was deeply knowledgeable about African culture in particular Zimbabwe. However, less of a problem for me, and more so for my wife, as he was unfamiliar with the vehicle he was driving. He needed the service station attendant to open the fuel tank. Also, the car caused headaches for Rita as it was heavily perfumed. The fuel and any snacks that were to be provided needed to be obtained prior to the tour. Since this tour was to be flexible per our interest, I emphasized our desire to see Cape Point and I noticed a resistance to this suggestion only to later find out why. Our guide was not registered as a guide and had problems with the park rangers. We did get in after he paid his entrance fee, the only fee he paid., I ended up paying for his meal, funicular, and Seal Island activities. After the incident at the entrance, Rita lost all trust in our guide. The trip was ruined, and we missed the wine tasting. Into tours offered a 25% reduction in price, which I accepted even though it was about a $150 tour versus the $319 charge.
