- Bo-Kaap - Once all guests have been picked up, the guide will provide a brief city introduction leading to a stop in Bo-Kaap. Previously known as the Cape Malay Quarter, guests can capture memorable photos with the vibrant houses as a backdrop. The guide will share fascinating stories about these historic homes and the heritage of the local residents, many of whom originated from Indonesia and Malaysia, working as house servant slaves.
- Table Mountain - Not far from Bo-Kaap, the tour stops at Table Mountain, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. At the lower cableway station, guests will take the cable car to the mountain’s summit. If visibility is poor, Table Mountain will be skipped and saved for the tour’s final stop. Please note that Table Mountain is a weather-dependent attraction.
- Maidens’ Cove - The tour continues with a drive along the Atlantic seaboard, between mountains and oceans, to Maiden’s Cove. With views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range on one side and the pristine Camp’s Bay Beach’s white sand and blue water on the other, Maiden’s Cove offers some of the most picturesque photo opportunities on this day tour.
- Chapman’s Peak Drive - Ranked among the world’s best scenic marine tour routes, Chapman’s Peak Drive features numerous spectacular viewpoints. We stop at one where guests will be amazed by the breathtaking views of the mountain range and endless ocean stretches, with waves crashing against rocks and white sandy shores.
- Cape of Good Hope - After Chapman’s Peak, the drive continues through the horse farm village of Noordhoek, past Township Masiphumelele and Oceanview, and the summer houses of Misty Cliff and Scarborough. We enter the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve’s main entrance to experience the day’s highlights. A visit to Cape Town is considered incomplete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope signboard.
- Old Cape Point Lighthouse - Most visitors choose a 15-minute short hike from the car park to the Cape Point lighthouse. However, if you prefer not to hike or are medically unfit, the guide will direct you to the Flying Dutchman Funicular lower station, which will take you up to the Cape Point lighthouse (at your own expense). There, you can witness the meeting of the Cold Benguela and Warm Agulhas ocean currents. An optional lunch can be enjoyed at either the Two Oceans Restaurant at Cape Point or with a delicious light meal from the Food Shop deli.
- Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Known as one of Cape Town’s best beaches, Boulders Beach is home to the charming African penguins. Visit these adorable seabirds in their natural habitat and meet some along the boardwalk. The warm waters from the False Bay Area make Boulders Beach ideal for swimming and sunbathing. If you’re lucky, you might swim or walk with penguins on the beach.
- Simon’s Town - We stop at the Waterfront in Simon’s Town. The tour guide will share the delightful story of Just Nuisance, the only dog enlisted in the British Navy. The guide will also show you where to explore the beautiful old colonial heritage town in a short time. The South African Naval Base is located in Simon’s Town.
- Muizenberg Beach - Our final stop for the day is Muizenberg Beach, where visitors can interact with surfers, view the colorful beach huts, and take photos. These huts serve as changing rooms for sunbathers. The guide will provide information about shark attacks, including prevention tips.
- Cape Town Central - The tour concludes in Cape Town with drop-off at your accommodation or hotel. Drop-off will be between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
