- Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Witness the African Penguin colony, home to some of the 2,500 breeding pairs of penguins, formerly known as Jackass Penguins due to their braying call. You will be guided to the viewing point, and as you walk along the boardwalk, you may see penguins walking beside you. Located in Simon’s Town, the area also features a beautiful white sand beach where many penguins rest on the rocks.

Fantastic and wonderful tour - A clear recommendation, and in my opinion an absolute must if you really want to get to know Cape Town. You explore the city’s highlights, receive important information, and get an answer to every question. Spending time with Sam feels more like visiting a friend you didn’t know you had until then. Funny, likeable, dedicated, and motivated — Sam embodies all of it. A clear recommendation and an absolute insider tip for experiencing Cape Town authentically.

Fantastic day in the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula - We spent a really great day with Samuel.
The tour has been very comprehensive of everything that the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula has to offer. Samuel is really knowledgeable, friendly, kind and flexible in adjusting the itinerary as we go to make us happy with what we wanted to see. He also made us see many animals and guided us in the peninsula skipping lines in a very effective way. Super recommended!

Thank you Paul for a great day - We had an absolutely great day with Paul, one of the partners in this enterprise. He treated us a friends and not customers. His knowledge of details was amazing and his sharp eye to catch things that we might miss was a real bonus. Paul was genuine in his descriptions and at not time did we ever think that he was doing something from a script. We have no hesitation in highly recommending either Samuel or Paul the two operators of Elsam

Professional, insightful, considerate tour experience - Our tour guide was great—very professional and friendly. The whole trip was well organized, and we learned a lot from the interesting facts he shared. The car was very good - clean and comfortable. The guide was also very considerate, always checking in to make sure everything was okay. I would definitely recommend this guide to anyone looking for a good and enjoyable tour.

A must in Cape Town - Highly recommend this very customized tour. It was our second full day in Cape Town. Samuel was a few minutes early and quickly assessed which local sights we had already seen. He then developed an itinerary based upon our experiences and quickly decided to reverse the route so as to optimize our day with him, accounting for traffic and weather. We had a beautiful day seeing the penguins and traveling to the Cape of Good Hope, arriving before throngs of people who were arriving as we departed. Samuel provided detailed information about, not only South African history, but also flora and fauna. He added in a stop to an ostrich farm and took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch. After we opted out of a boat ride to see the seals, he added in a visit to a jewelry manufacturer where we learned about how diamonds are cut. Samuel also included the beautiful Chapman’s peak drive, which is not to be missed. We highly recommend this experience!

Excellent day trip out of Cape Town - This is such a great trip to see a large number of sights outside Cape Town. Our guide Samuel was fantastic - very informative and great company - we got a real insight into the country from a local which added to the experience. I really recommend it! Thank you Samuel!!

What an incredible... - What an incredible experience! This all-day tour of Cape Town and Cape West was the perfect way to take in the natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture of South Africa. From the moment we were picked up by our driver, Thiam, everything was seamless and well-organized.
Our guide was not only knowledgeable and worldly, but also warm and engaging—highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Cape Town!

Sam’s the BEST!!! - Where to begin…. Sam started out as so welcoming and nice to us. He asked for our desires or needs and made sure we did everything we asked to do. We decided to book him an additional day to show us around a couple other places we wanted to see and he was more than happy to take it. It was a blast getting tours from him. He gave you some history of the island, made some jokes, and gave us insight on some of the shops. All in all it was a blast getting a tour and spending the couple of days with him.
