Robben Island Museum - Robben Island is situated in Table Bay and is renowned for its maximum-security prison, where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held during apartheid. Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison on the island, which has become a symbol of the struggle. Now a World Heritage site and museum, it offers daily tours. You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour on the island’s east coast and take a short walk to the buses that will guide you to all the historical sites around the island.
Victoria & Alfred Waterfront - After visiting Robben Island, return to the V&A Waterfront, located on the edge of the city’s bustling harbor. Bo-Kaap - Bo-Kaap is a vibrant neighborhood in Cape Town, known for its colorful houses and narrow cobbled streets. It has been a daytime destination since 1834, marking the end of slavery in the Cape Colony.
Table Mountain Aerial Cableway - Table Mountain is a unique symbol of the peninsula, standing 1,067 meters above sea level. The cable car excursion offers a 360-degree rotation, providing a full panorama of Cape Town’s famous flat-topped peak. Explore the mountain, enjoy a meal at the self-service Table Mountain Café, and soak up the commanding 360-degree views. The mountain is home to over 1,460 species of fynbos and animals such as the caracal, mongoose, and dassie. It has been a protected area for over 100 years. The quickest way to the top is via the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, but there are also adventurous hiking trails leading to the summit.
Hout Bay - In Hout Bay, you will have a view of the township known as Imizamo Yethu.
Constantia Glen - Constantia Winery, where the first wine was tasted on February 2, 1659, is one of Cape Town’s oldest townships, famed for its wine. Situated about 15 kilometers south of Cape Town’s center, it is considered one of South Africa’s most prestigious suburbs. Constantia Valley lies to the east and at the foot of the Constantiaberg Mountain. Constantia Nek is a low pass linking to Hout Bay in the west.
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden - A place to breathe and explore the Cape Floral, the smallest yet richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms. Discover 528 hectares of about 9,000 species of Cape Fynbos, with 6,200 found nowhere else in the world. The garden is part of the seven wonders of nature and includes visitor facilities such as restaurants, a nursery, a gift shop, a bookshop, and a permanent stone sculpture exhibition. The lighthouse was the first solid lighthouse structure on the South African coast and is the oldest operational lighthouse in South Africa.
Cape Town Stadium (Green Point Stadium) - The stadium was built for the FIFA World Cup 2010 and hosts various sports matches and music concerts throughout the year.
Sea Point - At Sea Point, enjoy scenic ocean and mountain views. Sea Point is one of the most scenic promenades along the Atlantic Seaboard. It’s about 11 km long and perfect for walking, running, and cycling due to its flat and well-maintained path. It is considered the headquarters of the Jewish community in Cape Town and was recently voted the coolest place on the African continent.
Clifton - Clifton is the wealthiest area in the country, often regarded as the Beverly Hills of Africa. It offers the best leisure and recreational opportunities for fun-seekers and beach lovers. The area includes Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton Bay, and Camps Bay.
Maiden’s Cove - A beautiful scenic lookout point between Clifton Beach and Glen Beach in the prestigious suburb of Camps Bay in Cape Town. It’s renowned for its exquisite views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, the Twelve Apostles, and the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphins are often spotted frolicking in the water. Maiden’s Cove is the perfect spot for creating sweet memories with spectacular photos and offers the best panoramic view of the ocean and Camps Bay Beach.

With breathtaking views, dramatic cliffs, and photo stops at lookout points, it’s a route you’ll never forget. It’s one of the most rewarding panoramic drives in the country, if not the world. The drive hugs the near-vertical face of the mountain, linking Hout Bay to Noordhoek suburb. It has 114 curves over nine kilometers and stands at 593 meters above sea level. Tourists and locals often stop at viewpoints along the drive.
Noordhoek Farm Village - Relax and unwind at the charming Noordhoek Village, known for its laid-back atmosphere and artisan shops. This quaint area is surrounded by lush countryside and pristine beaches, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely coffee or snack before continuing your journey. The Long Beach is perfect for photos, and Noordhoek Farm Village offers refreshments, coffee, and small crafts and souvenirs for purchase.
Simon’s Town - Founded in 1679 by the second governor, Simon van der Stel, it’s the second oldest town in South Africa and home to the South African Navy’s base. It was a former British headquarters under the Commonwealth until 1944, after World War II. You will have a view of the Martello House, the oldest British construction building in the country and the oldest of its kind in the world. It’s also home to African penguins.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Boulders Beach, located near Simon’s Town, is a world-renowned haven for African penguins. Cape of Good Hope - A visit to Cape Town is incomplete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board. Your tour guide will share the history of the two beacons known as the Bartolomeu Dias beacon and the Vasco Da Gama beacon. The Cape of Good Hope is the most southwestern point of the African continent, with two currents, the warm Agulhas and the cold Benguela. Cape Point is the treacherous rocky promontory south of the Cape, where many ships have come to grief since the fifteenth century. The reserve is an integral part of the Cape Floristic Kingdom, one of the world’s six floral kingdoms, with a treasure trove of 1,100 species of indigenous plants. Cape Point Nature Reserve - Cape Point is situated at the southwestern tip of Africa, running north-south about thirty kilometers at the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent. It is a promontory at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula. The Cape Point Nature Reserve is one of the most pristine and unspoiled places on earth, with dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and breathtaking views. It is a mountainous and scenic landform. At this point, most travelers take the option of a short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point lighthouse. However, if you do not feel up to the short hike or are medically unfit, the guide will direct you to the Flying Dutchman Funicular, which will take you up to the Cape Point lighthouse (fee excluded from the tour price). Cape Point is the official meeting point of the two ocean currents: the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents. Cape Point is famous for the Dutchman Funicular, the old lighthouse, and the best viewing site of Cape Point.
St. James Beach - Continue to the vibrant coastal town of Muizenberg, famous for its colorful beach huts and a popular surfing destination. Stroll along the beach, soak in the lively atmosphere, or snap pictures of the iconic huts against the backdrop of the waves.

Hermanus - Hermanus is one of the world’s top 12 Southern Right Whale watching locations. Enjoy lunch at Fick’s Restaurant, a perfect spot for lunching and walking on the cliffs with the best view of the village and rock daisy animals. Stony Point Penguin Colony - This is an amazing stop on the itinerary, which can be done in reverse before or after. Stop here to see thousands of endangered African penguins at close range. Learn about these unique African birds on a guided tour (optional).
Stellenbosch - Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa, dating back to 1679 when an island in the Eerste River was named Stellenbosch by then-Governor Simon van der Stel. It is the most famous wine-producing region in South Africa. The town, in the Western Cape’s Coastal Region, is steeped in history and is home to the country’s best-known wine estates. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Western Cape. The region has more than 200 wine and grape producers within the boundaries of the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin classification. It is a major player in the international wine industry and is home to South Africa’s best-known wine estates. The famous wine town is internationally recognized as the birthplace of the Pinotage variety, invented at the University of Stellenbosch in 1925. It is one of the most expensive countryside property markets in the country. Wine tasting at Cavalli or Peter Falke is optional.
Cape Town Central - End of the tour, return to Cape Town via N2, with an optional stop for coffee at Peregrine Farm Stall at your own expense. Top coffees around Cape Town are brewed here. You will be dropped off at your hotel/accommodation in Cape Town. This is a 3-hour drive back to Cape Town.

Breede River - The Breede River, also known as Breë River, is a river in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Traveling inland north from the city of Cape Town, the river runs in a west to east direction. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the famous winelands of the Breede River, with the first catchment area of the river in the Skurweberg Mountain Range close to Ceres. The headwaters run through the modern-day Mitchells Pass before leveling out in its middle course in the Worcester area. The river mouth is in an estuary at Port Beaufort on the Indian Ocean.
De Wet Cellar - De Wet Cellar was founded on April 15, 1946, as the oldest cellar in Worcester. Originally producing about 3,000 tons of grapes per year, it has since developed into a quality processing cellar of around 22,000 tons per year.
De Doorns - De Doorns, located in the heart of the Western Cape, is a vibrant grape region celebrated for its lush vineyards and exceptional produce.
