The tour kicks off with a picturesque drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the vibrant suburb of Sea Point and Camps Bay, which boasts stunning views of the Twelve Apostles, a part of the Table Mountain range. The journey continues to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, which spans over 17,300 acres of native fauna and flora. Visitors can observe a variety of wildlife, including baboons, rhebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok, and the elusive eland. The reserve is also one of the world’s largest breeding grounds for tortoises.
The breathtaking coastline provides a spectacle deserving of the title “Nature’s Greatest Show.” Visitors will witness the legendary meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Following the coastline along False Bay, the tour returns to Cape Town, passing through Simon’s Town (with an optional visit to the penguin colony, time permitting), Fish Hoek fishing village, and Muizenberg. The return to Cape Town includes views of the University of Cape Town, Rhodes Memorial, and the Groote Schuur Hospital.
