Great day out - Eli was a great tour guide, really informative and told me lots I didn't already know about Capetown. There was only me on the trip but I felt really safe the whole time and he didn't rushe through the trip.
The cheetahs are the highlight and I did the adult and the cub experiences which were really special and you can see how much the keepers care for the cats.

Great day out, cheetahs are the highlight! - The cheetahs were such an experience! You can see how well looked after and cared for they are by their handlers and that made the trip so much better!
I did the adult and cub experience, both of which were great and my guide gave me as much time as I wanted to spend in the sanctuary.
Eli was my your guide and I was the only person on the tour that day, we had a great trip together and he was so chatty and super knowledgeable about all things cape town and south Africa!
We went to the beaches but in true capetown fashion it wasn't really beach weather, but it was still nice to see some beaches I haven't visited before.
Overall a great trip, I would definitely recommend!

Loved getting to pet the cheetah!
To see them run though you need to go on Tuesday or Thursday

A feline adventure - This was a really good tour. The cheater experience was really cool and the guides are very professional.
We were picked up on time, and we had the whole tour to ourselves which was a very good bonus.
We decided not to spend the time at the beach because it was very cold and raining.

Fabulous visit - Great place run by amazing volunteers. Very educational & found out about the amazing work they do to work with rescued animals & bring them up as wild as possible. Loved the interactions & we were invited to join feeding time around the outreach. Excellent value for money if you want to get close to these amazing animals.

An excellent place to visit. - I can't speak highly enough about the Cheetah Outreach, the animals are really well looked after by the staff who treat it as a vocation rather than just a job. It is cheap to visit and set up as a conservation project to protect cheetahs which are an endangered species. There are other animals to see such as Caracal, jackels and meerkats. People have asked me if the cheetahs are well looked after and are they tranquilized before you go in. The cheetahs are very well looked after, they are not tranquilized and are not made to do anything they don't want to. The handler's wait until the cheetahs are relaxed before you are allowed to go in with them, there are two handlers, one with the cheetah and the other will take your photos and videos for you on your phone. You are allowed to stroke the cheetah's down their backs which they like. The centre also breed Anatolian dogs which instinctively protect livestock. They are a large breed from Turkey. The pups are given to farmers and placed with their animals (sheep, goats etc). The idea behind it is that farmers kill animals that attack their flocks, because the dogs chase off the predators the farmers don't need to kill them, this is a win win solution, the farmers animals are protected and so are the predatory animals. If you are in Cape Town or the surrounding area please visit and support this project. After visiting the Cheetah Outreach we went on to strand beach which is a nice sandy beach but you don't need long there, we then went on to Gordon's Bay where we had a relaxing lunch at a restaurant on the beach. Gordon's Beach is quite a nice place to visit.

A must do! - This was an amazing tour. We went in May so we were the only couple, basically a private tour. The Cheetah encounter was unbelievable! The views of Gordon’s bay and Strand beach were beautiful! Our driver was wonderful and gave a great tour with lots of information along the way!

Cheetah encounter - 2 hour drive but our driver was very informed and interesting. Not very much time with the Cheetah unless you get the VIP package that I would recommend. Great handlers and safety of guests and cat was top priority.
