- Huguenot Tunnel - The journey to the Huguenot Tunnel takes approximately 45 minutes. It is the longest tunnel in South Africa.
This 4km tunnel is situated on the N1 freeway (Section 1), about 60km northeast of Cape Town in the Western Cape Province. It is a tolled tunnel that allows the freeway to pass through the Du Toitskloof mountains, which separate Paarl from Worcester.
The tunnel’s infrastructure includes a toll plaza, a main control center building, and portal buildings equipped with extensive electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems necessary for managing and operating the tunnel and toll plaza.
- Touwsrivier - The travel time to Touwsrivier is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the game reserve, guests will receive a welcome non-alcoholic drink, sign a consent form, and enjoy a delightful buffet breakfast and lunch. All meals at the reserve are halal, with no pork products used, and the buffet breakfast is served in the main restaurant, accommodating various dietary needs, including vegetarian options.
Afterward, guests will board a truck for a 2.5 to 3-hour excursion with game rangers to observe wildlife.
- Worcester - The travel time to Worcester is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Worcester is a town in the Western Cape, South Africa, and is the third-largest city in the province. It is located 120 kilometers northeast of Cape Town on the N1 highway.
