According to meteorologist Bantry bay is the only suburb in Cape town that is not affected by the south eastern winds that Cape town experiences on a regular basis and this is all thanks to the Lions head. Bantry bay has over 260 wind free days a year and which is a significant number considering Cape town’s windy climate.

Great views and cute penguins! - I had originally booked the half day penguin colony trip - I was asked if I minded extending it to include Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. I’m glad I did! It is a long drive but the views and the penguins were definitely worth it! I would definitely recommend this trip!

Great trip to boulders beach and cape point - We were on a half-day guided trip to Cape Point and penguin safari, and it was a fantastic experience. The trip was well organized with really good stops along the way, which gave us the opportunity to both experience the beautiful nature and take lots of photos.
Our guide, Leticia, really made the day even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable, committed and had a wonderful energy that infected us. She shared exciting stories and facts, while providing a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
All in all, it was a really good experience and a wonderful day full of talk, laughter and not least new knowledge. We highly recommend the trip!

Perfect half day experience - I had an amazing time with Leticia. I toured solo and we had a blast chatting it up in the car on the way to see the penguins. This tour was perfect for me as I had limited time, I needed something about 4-5 hours, not the 6-10 hours other tours offered. The penguin experience was incredible! I will book an additional tour with Leticia, she is a wealth of knowledge and offered a lot of flexibility for stops etc. Thank you Leticia!

Unforgettable Coastal Cape & Penguin Tour - Fantastic tour experiencing the coastal towns and epic views of the cape and the African penguins in the wild. This tour is unmissable for anyone who has a spare morning or afternoon in Cape Town. Our guide was also a great photographer and really informative. Would highly recommend, especially for a solo traveller!

Great tour. Latisha went above and beyond. - Our guide, Latisha, did a great job communicating prior to our hotel pick up. The van was large and comfortable and durning the tour, Latisha gave an on going narration of the sites we were passing and facts about South Africa. It was obvious that Latisha was passionate about her country. At each stop we had ample time and Latisha was always right where she she was to met us. Latisha was very accomidating and went beyond to make us feel welcome. Since we were the only ones on our tour, Latisha dropped us off at the V&A Warf rather than our hotel so we could visit that and she made an excellent recommendation for where to eat.

Enjoyed the Penguins at... - Enjoyed the Penguins at Bolder beach. Chapmans Peak was stunning. Bonus village type stops along the way. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and informative. Recommend this tour.

The initial impression... - The initial impression and communication of the trip was good and the team offered us the chance to expand the tour to cape of god hope, which was a pleasant surprise. However, they did not tell us that it would mean taking a totally different route with a prebooked group that did not go past the scenic route of chapmans peak.
So we would recommend double checking which route will be taken if you want to see specific sites along the way and not just the penguins.
