- Bo-Kaap - The tour begins with a visit to Bo-Kaap, renowned for its vibrant, colorful houses in the CBD, previously called the Malay Quarter. Participants will have the chance to take photos and explore the area briefly before moving on.
- Camps Bay - The second stop is just outside the city bowl, at the Atlantic seaboard in the Camps Bay suburb and Camps Bay Beach, often referred to as the Beverly Hills of South Africa. Few places worldwide offer views as breathtaking as those here. Visitors can also stop at Maiden’s Cove braai area along the coast, which provides some of the best views of this suburb, Table Mountain, Clifton, and the 12 Apostles. On a good day, one might spot whales, sharks, dolphins, and seals.
- Hout Bay - Quality time will be spent here, where participants can enjoy a 40-minute boat trip (return) at their own expense, approximately USD 7 per adult and USD 3 per child, to the island home to over 4,000 Cape fur seals. It’s an excellent place to purchase souvenirs and artifacts.
- Chapman’s Peak - Travel along one of the world’s most scenic routes, Chapman’s Peak Drive, affectionately known by locals as “Chappies.” This route is used when operational, as it is occasionally closed due to rock falls, though this is rare. There will be a stop at the viewpoint for a photo opportunity of the stunning Atlantic seaboard coastline, stretching between Hout Bay and Noordhoek.
- Cape Point Nature Reserve - Cape Point Nature Reserve spans 7,750 hectares and is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, a World Heritage Site and the smallest of the world’s six floral kingdoms, yet it boasts more plants and rare species than the other five combined. It is also home to the Cape Point lighthouses and the Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western point of the African continent. Visitors may also encounter wildlife in this nature reserve.
- Cape of Good Hope - Named by Portuguese navigator Bartolomeu Dias in 1487, the Cape of Good Hope is known for its rough waters, rugged coastlines, wildlife, and as the meeting point of the Atlantic Benguela and Indian Agulhas currents. It has a long history of both challenges and achievements. Early sailors famously referred to it as the corner of Africa, marking a significant navigational landmark. From here, sailors noted their voyages began to turn east more than southwest. There will be an optional hike or drive up to Cape Point, with opportunities for photography.
- Simon’s Town - Home to thousands of African penguins, formerly known as Jackass penguins for their braying. Boulders Beach is one of Africa’s only three mainland penguin colonies. Passing by without visiting this famous penguin colony would be a missed opportunity!

It was a great day. - A private tour for two. Our guide, Mr. Prince, was really kind and courteous. Stunning views from Camps Bay Nature Park. Mini cruise through Hout Bay. We were planning to go to Seal Island where we could see seals and fur seals, but the waves were rough so we decided to cruise around the bay. Still, we could see a lot of seals in the harbor. A snap from the observation deck on Chapman's Peak Drive. Prince is always mindful of the animals, and along the way he encountered herds of baboons and springbok. The Afro pack was great. Cape of Good Hope. Group photo in front of the iconic sign. Prince said that if you climb the rocky mountain behind the Cape of Good Hope for about 40 minutes, you'll see the spectacular view. As he said, it was a great hike. We took the cable car to Cape Point and the view from the lighthouse was amazing. Prince also found the best place for lunch, and I was very happy. It was an unforgettable day with great weather and great drivers.

Beautiful - This private tour is beautiful. They cost us 4500 rand during the month of July. The driver guide was very friendly and flexible. He even came at our request earlier than usual. The tour itself is magnificent and grandiose.

Amazing sightseeing trip for our family - We had an amazing two day chauffeur tour around Cape Town and the cape of good hope! Toyo was so knowledgeable, friendly and great company throughout! We were travelling with a 4 month old baby, Yo-yo proceed a car seat for us and the mini van was comfortable with plenty of water. Yoyo was extremely flexible and happy to adapt plans to suit us and the weather. We would 100% recommend the company to all our family and friends!

A great tour of Cape Town’s top sights - This tour covered several must-see sights in Cape Town. Our driver Yoyo did a great job explaining to us the relevant information. It is not easy to navigate through a large and complex city while taking us to some of the most iconic sights of the city. Yoyo did it successfully and beyond. We are really glad that we selected this tour out of many similar ones. It is a top choice.

Frank the amazing guide! Thank you - Frank our guide was simply amazing. We had the most fantastic time in Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula, Hermanus and the wine country with Frank. He took us everywhere and nothing was too much trouble for him. The knowledge he shared with us as well was fantastic and really helped to crystallise all that we saw and experienced.

Excellent Experience--Chalula made the Trip to Cape Town Great - Alain and Chalula private tours was a phenomenal experience. I worked with Alain to put together a comprehensive package that included airport pick-up, drop-off, a full day private tour of Cape Town, as well as an extensive full day tour of the Winelands.
Prince, our driver and tour guide, was professional, punctual, and accommodating. The SUV used was also clean and spacious. It was mine and my wife’s first time to Cape Town and Prince was very open to modifying the itinerary as we went through the day and learned where we wanted to spend our time.
We are very grateful for our friend’s recommendation to connect us with Alain and Chalula tours. Minimizing time thinking of logistics from Point A to B allowed us to focus on the many awesome and unique offerings of Cape Town during our short visit.
