The Long March to Freedom - This is an ideal stop after the Robben Island Museum tour, where you learn about the imprisonment of South Africa’s political leaders. The Long Walk to Freedom provides insight not only into the apartheid era but also into earlier history, including the first inhabitants of South Africa, such as the Khoi-San people.
This is a remarkable experience, offering a meaningful glimpse into South Africa’s rich traditions and complex history. - GOLD Restaurant - Welcome to Gold Restaurant, located in Green Point, just 10 minutes from Cape Town city centre. Gold Restaurant offers a vibrant African dining experience, featuring a 14-course menu accompanied by live drumming, singing, dancing, and Mali puppet performances.
Guests are warmly welcomed with singing and praise by the staff, with an opportunity to engage in traditional dancing and the rhythms of marimba and djembe drumming—this occurs before dinner at 18:30.
Dinner begins at 19:00. Before it starts, waiters will offer a complimentary African face painting experience, a tradition often seen during celebrations and weddings. During dinner, performers take the stage, sharing Pan-African stories through music and dance. Meals are served in metal, clay, and traditional small African pots, creating a fully authentic experience.
