Highly Recommended - Fully Personalised Private Wine Farm Tour - We had 4 wine farms in the region that we were interested in, but it seemed that none of the standard tours included all 4, so we chose this customisable private tour, setting them the challenge, even though the wineries we had chosen were somewhat scattered around the region. .. And what a fantastic day we had!
Abel was not only highly professional, courteous and very knowledgeable about the area and each farm we visited, he was also great fun to be around for the day, leaving us plenty of time at each farm to enjoy the wines.
All we had to do was provide in advance the list of wineries we wanted to see and he organised everything from there.. . We simply stepped out of our accommodation on the day of the tour, Abel was there to meet us and guide us through the day from that point forward. Absolutely the way we wanted to do our tour, with a great guide for the day.
Highly recommended, especially if you want a personalised day, without the rush of an organised tour. Perfect for couples who want to leave the worrying to someone else, sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wines of the region.

Vinyard Tour -
Wiseman our host for the day provided an amazing vineyard tour. He was incredibly professional, courteous, friendly, and polite, looking after us from start to finish.
We truly appreciated how Wiseman selected vineyards that you hoped we would enjoy; each one had its own distinct charm and character. We also valued his knowledge about South Africa and we enjoyed hearing your insights into life in your country. It was especially moving when Wiseman drove us to one of the prisons where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated on our way home.
We had a fabulous day and enjoyed your company very much. We highly recommend a trip for anyone visiting the Cape Town area.

a must! - I recently did the Full Day Winelands Tour With Wine Tasting with Shine The Way Tours, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in Cape Town. If you love wine or even if you’re just curious about it this tour is perfect.
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day feel relaxed and enjoyable. We visited several beautiful wine estates, each offering something different. The wine tastings were amazing, especially the reds and dessert wines. I also really enjoyed learning how different wines are made, how to taste them properly.
The scenery alone is worth the trip. Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are absolutely stunning, and we had plenty of time for photos, exploring, and enjoying the atmosphere. The van was clean, comfortable, and the whole experience felt well-organized from start to finish.
I definitely recommend Shine The Way Tours if you want a fun, informative, and memorable wine tour. Whether you're a wine lover or just looking to see another beautiful side of Cape Town, this tour is a must!
