Amazing Experience - Will turn you into a surfer! - I had an amazing experience surfing at Eden bay with the Surf Life team. It was my first time surfing so I was a bit apprehensive going in to it. However, Cornell and the team helped me settle as soon as I arrived. Explaining everything very well and at your own pace, they are very accommodating at all levels which was amazing. The instructor was so patient and also motivational in explaining the psychology behind surfing. Thanks to this - in the end I managed to catch a baby wave and felt very accomplished. Surfing with Table Mountain in backdrop is the highlight of my trip to Cape Town. Thank you Surf Life Surf School.

Loved it - I had such a fun time surfing this morning with Cornell. It was pretty much my first time surfing, and she was so encouraging, helpful and provided great coaching. She will do her best to make sure you stand up and ride the wave. I wish I could stay longer so I could do another lesson! I can see why people love surfing so much. Hope to do it again when I’m back one day.

Absolutely Excellent! - The folks at Surf Life are absolutely excellent - and Cornel is a Goddess!!! They have a kind attitude and a great sense of humor while maintaining a strong focus on teaching and guiding you toward achieving your goals with excellence. One of the aspects I appreciated most about their approach is that they explain the purpose behind every action you need to take, whether it's to make the most of a wave or to ensure your safety in the water. I've taken lessons with them for 2 weeks and the progress I've made with Cornel and her team, compared to my previous months of lessons with other coaches, has been truly remarkable and has exceeded all my expectations.

Amazing learn to Surf experience - Cornel and her Team are amazing. This was the second year I booked my two kids (6 and 9) into her surf school. They are great with the children! She even custom planned a half day surf school experience for them for 3 days which they loved. I was totally comfortable to leave the kids with them and they took great care of them. They even went out for waffles and pizza! I can highly recommend Cornel and her team and we will surely book with her again next year!

Bucket list item checked ✔️ - What a fun experience to is morning! Blouberg beach water was pristine and despite a bit of wind, the views of Table Mountain and the surfing company made up for it. Coach Cornel guided and directed us closely from the time we arrived up until we bid farewell to each other. A fun, attentive approach.. she covered every aspect of surfing and ensured we were comfortable in the surf attempting to navigate each wave on our boards.

An ideal intro to the world of surfing - Hands down one of the best experiences I have had in Cape Town and guaranteed to be life-changing for you too if you've ever wanted to experience the magic of riding your first wave.
Surf Life takes care of everything, from equipment, coaching and guidance, ocean safety and knowledge, and even enthusiasm (incase you forgot yours at home!)
But most of all, you will appreciate the warm and friendly nature of the coaches, especially the head coach Cornel, whose stoke and passion for surfing will leave a lasting impression on your trip.

Best Surf school in SA - I was from December to February in South Africa. I had about 12 surf lessons with surf life school and big Bay in it was amazing. The coaches are so good Cornel she’s the best surfing instructor that I ever had. She teach teach me to stand on surfboard and to ride a wave. Yeah it was just perfect.

The location is stunning, and the beach offers perfect conditions for both beginners and advanced surfers.
