• Cape Town Central - The precise pickup time will be shared with you by our office a day before the tour begins. We will contact you via your WhatsApp number or the email address you provided during booking. Please note that we only pick up guests staying within a 10Km radius of the City Centre. Those staying outside the city will need to meet us at the Silo Hotel on the Waterfront.
• Bo-kaap - Once everyone is on board, your guide will provide a brief overview of the day following a general introduction. Our first exciting stop will be the famous colorful houses of Bo-Kaap before we explore Table Mountain and the Atlantic seaboard. Here, you will have ample time to learn about the area’s history, take Instagram photos, and enjoy a guided walking tour.
• Table Mountain - Our next thrilling attraction is the new 7 Wonders of Nature, Table Mountain. This flat-topped mountain is a prominent landmark overlooking Cape Town, South Africa. It is a significant tourist attraction, and weather permitting, you will be guided to use the Cableway for a return trip. Your guide will assist you in purchasing tickets online on the day of the tour. It’s a must-see attraction in Cape Town. • Chapman’s Peak Drive - Join us to explore one of the most spectacular scenic routes in South Africa and one of the best in the world, known as Chapman’s Peak or Chappies. This tour is one of the best in Cape Town, offering opportunities to take amazing photos at viewing points along this 144-curved road, which stretches for about 9Km. The road was considered an engineering masterpiece upon completion. It’s like an avalanche dropping into the ocean. Your guide will share more about this beautiful attraction. Please note that the road may occasionally be closed for maintenance.
• Just Nuisance - A quick stop at the historical Simon’s Town village, home to the South African Naval Force base, will be on the itinerary to see the monument erected in memory of a Great Dane dog known as Just Nuisance, who made history within the ranks of our Navy forces. Just Nuisance was the only dog ever officially enlisted in the Royal Navy. He was a Great Dane who served at HMS Afrikander, a Royal Navy shore establishment in Simon’s Town, South Africa, from 1939 to 1944. He died in 1944 at the age of seven and was buried with full military honors. Your guide will allocate 90 minutes for lunch here in Simon’s Town.
• Old Cape Point Lighthouse - Your guide will allow you to hike to the old lighthouse, which takes approximately 15 minutes one way, to see the exact Cape Point and the new lighthouse. He will provide the full history of this attraction. There is an optional opportunity to use the funicular or tram to reach the top at your own expense. The cost is approximately ZAR 80 for a return adult ticket, and children pay half. The trip to the top is worth it, with a few steps to take before reaching the summit. Upon returning to the parking lot, the reserve has its own restaurant and deli. Your guide will discuss group lunch arrangements at your own expense.
• Cape of Good Hope - As we enter the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, part of Table Mountain National Park, home to incredible fauna and flora within the Cape Floral Kingdom, we will explore the Dias and Vasco Da Gama Crosses before stopping for our first photo opportunity at the Cape of Good Hope, the most southwestern point of the African continent. Another Kodak moment or Instagram-worthy photo can be taken here. For Capetonians, the area is known as the meeting place of the two oceans, but scientifically, it is the official meeting point of the cold Benguela and warm Agulhas currents. Amazing photos can be taken behind the wooden signboard of the Cape of Good Hope. Look out for seals, dolphins, whales, baboons, antelopes, and more.
• Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Our stop at Boulders Beach’s African Penguin colony is always a highlight of this small guided tour. Get up close to see these endangered, unique birds in Africa. The colony has grown from just a couple in 1982 to almost 3,000 breeding pairs. The entrance fee is approximately USD 10 per adult, with children paying half the price.
• St James Beach - Our last stop will be the lookout point of the beautiful St. James Beach near Muizenberg, where we will stop for photos with the colorful beach cabanas.
