The drive to Hermanus from Cape Town takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering picturesque landscapes, mountain vistas, and charming small towns along the way, before reaching Hermanus, famously known as the home of whales.
- Hermanus New Harbour - Upon arrival at New Harbour in Hermanus, guests will receive a briefing about these majestic ocean giants from an experienced and qualified whale watching specialist. Guests will then board a modern shared boat equipped with toilet facilities for a 2 to 3-hour sea adventure. When a whale is spotted, the skipper will pause the boat to allow everyone to admire these magnificent sea creatures up close. Throughout the excursion, the skipper and crew will endeavor to spot more whales to ensure a comprehensive whale watching experience. After the boat trip, guests will return to the New Harbour.
