The day begins at 7:30 am as the guide gathers all guests from Port Douglas. After a ferry ride across the Daintree River, the first destination is Alexandra Lookout, offering breathtaking views perfect for photos.
Upon reaching Cape Tribulation, the guide will lead guests to the beach where the rainforest meets the reef.

Just book it! Best way to see Daintree NP! - JUST BOOK IT! Reasons to NOT self-drive to Daintree NP: 1. Traffic patterns are unpredictable, including the ferry, single-lane passes and possible road flooding. 2. Cell service/navigation is zero in many spots. 3. You miss out on learning all there is about the region and history. 4. On holiday, everyone deserves a stress-free "just a passenger" day. Reasons to book THIS tour: 1. Guides know the best spots for food, snacks and toilets! 2. Guides understand inherent safety guidelines (crocs, deadly plants, weather) 3. Daintree Tours/Calypso (via Viator) did an amazing job predicting what we would need for the day, how to make the most of our time, and tailor the stops just for our group. 4. Everything was so easy and simple, we got to ENJOY this magical experience!

Terrific Tour! Couldn’t ask for more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Our family of 5 (kids 19,17,14) took the guided tour to the rainforest, with a delightful morning tea en route, at the majestic and unspoilt Cape Tribulation beach. Then it was time for a terrific treetop zip lining adventure. The staff were friendly and patient taking small groups flying through the treetops. Lots of fun and not too scary! Views were magnificent. This was followed by a plentiful and sumptuous lunch at a local charming restaurant with a chance for a swim in a beautiful watering hole. To end the tour we boarded a rustic boat to cruise with Ernie the crocodile whisperer, whose tour of the mangroves was authentic and optimistic even in the off season. A huge shout out to Dale our main guide whose knowledge and stories of the area were a perfect combination of information and entertainment. A great day was had by all! 💯 recommend this tour.

Superb Day Trip - Steve our guide was bursting with enthusiasm and knowledge to share, making this one of the most fascinating, thought provoking and informative trips we have ever had. We loved the zip lining, lunch, swim and cruise where we saw a saltwater crocodile. Superb and well worth the money.

Covered everything with a fantastic guide as a bonus - Fantastic guide who made a great trip even more special. Learnt so much and the trip had a fantastic variety of activities so was appealing to all members of the family. Relaxing to not have to worry about getting ourselves around and met some lovely people on the tour as well.

Tree-top Frolic and Fabulous Day - Steve was a wonderfully informed guide, providing past and current history of the area throughout the day. Loved exploring the crab pellets on Cape Tribulation. LOVED the zip lining experience. Enjoyed crocodile hunting on boat among the mangroves. Thoroughly enjoyed delicious lunch and wattle-seed ice cream.

Great fun day - The entire day was a blast! We were very lucky to get a passionate and knowledgeable tour guide (Steve). Cape Trib. was gorgeous, zip lining was super fun and we actually saw crocs on the boat ride. The food was delicious and the serving size for lunch was very generous. Highly recommend this tour

Fantastic Daintree experience! - We were recommended this tour by some friends and it did not disappoint. Everything was taken care of, Dale our guide was very knowledgeable and updated us on the Daintree history and important information. My partner and I had a terrific experience and we would highly recommend this tour, for anyone wanting a unique experience of the area.

Greta day! - It was a fabulous day. Dale was our driver guide and he was full of stories and information that made the drive interesting. Love the ziplining. The lunch was good. The crocodile trip was great as we saw 6 crocs. The best part of the day was the Daintree ice cream. Get the sampler. It was delicious !! Would definitely recommend this trip.

The perfect day trip to Cape Tribulation and Daintree Forest - Such a wonderful experience. We had the most amazing driver who kept us entertained during the whole trip and shared a lot of information about Cape Tribulation and its history. Pick up and drop off were effortless. The river tour was great and we spotted several crocodiles. Clearly the ferryman has a very personal connection to these animals and it made the trip even more memorable. You could tell how heartbroken he was when he told stories about crocodiles who had to be shot in the past because tourists interfered with them (at night, while being drunk, ignoring numerous warnings) and were subsequently attacked - please stay away and respect the wildlife, people! The zipline tour was a lot of fun, we were first timers and it was really easy. The instructors were very helpful and patient with everyone. I would say that the zipline tour can be done by most people including children, however, a very basic fitness level is required. Mentioning this because we had a lot of elderly participants in our group who had trouble climbing the few stairs and seemed to be surprised that they had to engage in physical activities at all. We were also served morning tea and lunch, and stopped at an ice cream factory in the afternoon, they had delicious tropical flavours made from fruit harvested at their own farm. So many wunderful activities packed in just one day, highly recommend!
