Absolutely a bucket list activity - Let's not even mention that the farm dog just had a bunch of cute puppies... and instead focus on the tour-at-hand. Ezequiel was my overall guide (and pickup/dropoff driver) and this entire tour was quite simply a bucket list activity. I mean... riding a horse through the Andes? Yes, that and more. Expert guides--er, sorry, Gauchos--and a spectacular dinner to boot. It does make for a long day but assuming the weather cooperates (it certainly did for my trip), then my gosh, what an adventure. Do ring a backpack with some layers if in fall/winter/spring, and as a SCUBA diver, I found that a GoPro mounted on my backpack shoulder strap took some pretty good footage. Lastly, I will note a couple of things: 1) I thought the tour would be in English but frankly was not... luckily my below average Spanish was good enough, 2) if you've never ridden a horse, no worries, even given the language barrier, this was a great 1st riding experience, 3) there are some rather steep climbs and descents... I've never trusted a horse--or animal--so much in my life. It was a little nerve-wracking and I didn't expect it but wow, was it additive to the experience.

horseback riding adventure - amazing experience such an amazing scenery, and the horses were very good, you have to trust the horses definitely a must experience, but it is a little scary and not for people who are scared of heights as you have to go up sometimes steeper mountains

An absolutely must do experience! - This was such a perfect experience! Even the drive there was fun!! My horse was so gentle and careful with me. She took them best care of me during the ride. The views were beautiful. I was able to meet many lovely people, including the guides. The food was out of this world good! Can't recommend this experience enough.

Phenomenal horseback tour into Argentinian Andes! - A wonderful excursion into the mountains west of mendoza! Stella was a wonderful host to ensure everyone was comfortable with the trip and paired to an appropriate horse for their skill level.
Franco and Juan did a masterful job leading the train and assisting anyone who struggled as we ascended and descended the mountain trails.
Finishing with a wonderful asado made everyone feel like family.
This a must do excursion if staying in mendoza!

Amazing experience! Lovely horses, great views and delicious food. - This experience was fantastic! The journey to the ranch was quite bumpy as we went through the country road to get there, but the ranch is a really pretty place. The owners are great, very communicative before and during the experience, and they make sure to answer your questions as much as they can, despite language barriers. The horses are healthy and well looked after and when they aren’t being ridden they have freedom to roam the mountains. Lots of cute and friendly dogs hanging out there too and some of them join the trip. They pair you with a horse based on ability, for example I used to ride a lot growing up so they put me on a more lively horse (who sometimes decides to start trotting without me telling her to haha) and they put me near the front, and beginners were paired with a calmer horse and are further back in the line. The views of the Andes are fantastic, especially at the top. At the beginning of the descent there is a part that is quite steep which could be a bit daunting for beginners, but these horses know their way around the mountains more than anyone so you can trust that they know what they’re doing. There are also guide riders who come along and can help you if you’re unsure of what to do. We got to see the beautiful sunset on the way down. After the ride, a big asado was ready for us. It was delicious, with roasted veg, choripan and plenty of steak. Also a generous serving of red wine and lemonade. They really do make sure you’re having a great time. Definitely recommend this to everyone. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful views - Nice trail ride up a dry river and then up a small mountain. Stop at the top for pictures. It is beautiful sight. Then down the mountain and back on the river bed. Going down is a little challenging but the horses know what they are doing. The asado is good. Plenty of Meats, sausage, vegetables, wine, etc
Ride is an hour from Mendoza. 30 min up a rocky road.

Fabulous - Fabulous small group experience gently riding in the Andes at sunset with fantastic views back over Mendoza. Friendly team, mainly Spanish speaking extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Delicious parilla at the end with both meat & vegetarian options & generous pouring of Malbec to complete the meal. Highly recommend this experience 😁

Unforgettable Mountain Ride and Asado - What an unforgettable experience! A picturesque ride through the mountains, taking you to a spectacular viewpoint. The animals are so quiet, dependable and strong, we felt so safe throughout even on the sharp ascents and declines. And then you get back to the ranch and enjoy the most amazing asado. Wow. We loved every moment of this experience.
Also very grateful for others who booked the same trip, our driver and many of the guides did not speak any English so they were able to translate.
