Aşıklı Höyük - This tour package offers a fascinating historical journey. Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cappadocia in the morning and head towards Asikli Mound, dating back to 8500 BC. After a 1.5-hour drive, the tour arrives at Asikli Mound, known for the world’s first brain surgery from the Neolithic age. Here, the guide will provide insights into human history. The next stop is Selime Cathedral, the largest rock-carved monastery in the area, which was home to Hittite, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman civilizations. Lunch will be enjoyed on the Melendiz River in Ihlara Canyon, featuring a local meal. After lunch, participants can enjoy a leisurely 4km walk (approximately 1 hour) along the river through the scenic Ihlara Valley canyon, dotted with cave churches carved by early Christian monks. Soganli Valley - Guests will be picked up from their hotel at 09:30 and travel to Kaymaklı Underground City. This city was initially constructed in the soft volcanic rock by the Phrygians, an Indo-European people, in the 8th–7th centuries BC. It was significantly expanded during the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) era for protection against Muslim Arab raids during the Arab–Byzantine wars. The tour will then visit the region’s famous rock-carved potato storages. Next, the journey continues to Soganli Valley, known for its historical significance, scale, and natural beauty. A delightful lunch will be served under the apricot and walnut trees, surrounded by towering cliffs. The frescoes in these churches reflect the beliefs and hopes of the Christian community that once lived here. After lunch, guests who wish to can walk in the Avla Canyon, renowned for its natural beauty.

Uçhisar Village House, Göreme, Pottery Making, and Red Valley

Uchisar - The day begins with a visit to a village house in the historic Uçhisar Castle, carved into a fairy chimney and located at the highest point of Cappadocia. Visitors will experience a traditional Turkish house and enjoy the stunning view of Uçhisar Castle. The tour then proceeds to the Göreme Panorama area to view the Güvercinlik Valley and Göreme city center from above. Following this, the group will visit a pottery workshop to see the famous potter’s wheel, crafted from red clay sourced from the Kızılırmak region, which has a rich history in Cappadocia. Participants will learn about pottery from experts and have the opportunity to create a unique piece. After a local meal in Avanos, a 3 km walk in the Kızılçukur Valley is planned. The walk concludes at the village of Çavuşin, an old Greek village. After receiving information from the guide, the tour will end, and guests will return to their hotel.

Göreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley, Pasabag, Three Beauty Fairy Chimneys

Goreme - The tour begins at 09:00 with a meeting at the hotel and a visit to the Goreme Open Air Museum, which features numerous rock-cut churches from the second half of the 9th century, adorned with vibrant frescoes. Next is Devrent Valley, known for its whimsical animal-shaped rocks, resembling a natural sculpture zoo. The tour continues to Pasabagi, meaning “the Pacha’s vineyard,” also known as Monks Valley. This site was the hermitage of Simeon monks, featuring a chapel dedicated to St. Simeon (Simon) and a hermit’s shelter built into one of the fairy chimneys with three heads. Pasabag Valley boasts some of the most remarkable fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, with twin and even triple rock caps, uniquely mushroom-shaped. The tour concludes with a visit to Uchisar Castle, the highest natural rock castle, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding area. After the tour, guests will be driven back to their hotel.
