Laguna Parón - This tour takes you to the largest lake in the Cordillera Blanca and the Huascarán National Park:
The journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel or meeting point at 5:30 a.m., heading north from Huaraz. Enjoy the scenic views of the Cordillera Blanca and the traditional villages in the Callejón de Huaylas.
First stop: Just outside Caraz, where you can purchase water and/or snacks for the lake visit. You can also reserve your lunch here.
Second stop: Parón Lake, where a short hike to the viewpoint allows you to capture classic photos or simply enjoy the stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Optional: Kayak ride (not included).
Lunch will be at a tourist restaurant, approximately S/ 30 (not included).
The return to Huaraz is scheduled for around 6:30 p.m.
Huaraz City (3,100m) – via Pueblo Catac – Visit to the Puya Raimondi – Pastoruri Glacier (5,050m) – Return to Huaraz
Pastoruri Glacier - Departure at 8:30 a.m. from your hotel or meeting point, heading south of Huaraz through Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac, with views of the southern Cordillera Blanca.
Stop 1: Patococha, or Duck Lagoon, to observe wild ducks in a serene Andean environment.
Stop 2: Puma Pampa Carbonated Spring, featuring bubbling waters and views of the Mururaju Glacier.
Stop 3: Pumapashimi Lagoon (Seven Colors Spring), known for its vibrant colors and local legends.
Stop 4: Visit the towering Puya Raimondii, an iconic high-Andean plant.
Stop 5: Arrival at Pastoruri Base Camp for a 40-minute hike to the glacier. Horses are available (extra cost).
Final: Lunch stop in Ticapampa on the return journey.
Return to Huaraz.
Huaraz – Yungay Village – Drive through the Llanganuco Gorge – Cebollapampa – Trek to Lake 69 (4,650m) – Return to Huaraz
Laguna 69 - 5:00 AM: The adventure begins with hotel pick-ups. Once all passengers are on board, the journey continues toward the scenic Callejón de Huaylas.
7:30 AM: A breakfast stop (not included) provides time to recharge before the trek.
The journey continues to the impressive Llanganuco Valley (3,900m), where breathtaking views of the Chinancocha and Orconcocha lagoons await.
Next, the trek begins at Cebollapampa, leading to Lake 69 (4,604m) over approximately 3 hours, offering incredible landscapes along the way. After reaching the lake and taking time to appreciate its beauty, the 2-hour descent back to Cebollapampa begins.
Transport will be waiting to return you to Huaraz, marking the end of the tour.
Huaraz – via the town of Caraz – Punta Olímpica (4,736m) – Pico Mateo (5,150m a.s.l.) – Return to Huaraz.
Huascaran National Park - Departure from Huaraz at approximately 3:00 a.m. – Carhuaz – Ulta Valley (Huascarán National Park checkpoint) – Punta Olímpica Tunnel.
Begin the ascent on the moraine (a rocky and steep path) for approximately 2 hours. Continue the climb on ice and snow for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until reaching the summit.
At the top, a brief stay allows for photographs and enjoyment of the surrounding landscape before descending along the same route for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes back to Punta Olímpica.
Return to Huaraz, concluding the tour between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., approximately.
