A Family Adventure Begins

As a family travel writer, I’m always on the lookout for unique experiences that can bring families closer together while creating lasting memories. The second cave was a bit more challenging, as we had to navigate over pointy limestone. I was grateful for the closed-toe shoes I had packed for the trip, as they provided much-needed protection. A Refreshing Finale

The third and final cave was the highlight of the tour. After working up a sweat in the hot and humid environment, we were rewarded with a swim in the cool, refreshing water inside the cave. It was the perfect way to cool off and relax after our adventure. The entry and exit required the use of a rope for assistance, but Arturo was right there to help us every step of the way. His expertise and encouragement made the experience feel safe and manageable, even for my youngest.
