Fun, laid-back tour - This tour was a great way to explore Carlsbad and learn some history of the area. Our guide, Ben, was friendly and informative. We stopped at 6 different food and beverage sites and along the way scoped out some local art and learned about the history of Carlsbad. Thank you, Ben, for the fun afternoon!

One of the better food tours we have taken - We regularly take food tours in cities where we have never been before. It is a great way to learn about the city AND taste some wonderful food - plus meet fun people. The Taste of Carlsbad and our guide, David, was one of the best tours we have taken. David was so friendly and knew so much about his city. He showed us murals and gave us insight into them, gave us historical info about the city, AND all of the food places he took us were absolutely delicious. We had three savory spots, a wine tasting, and two sweet spots. The tour was a good balance of walking and eating. The weather was perfect, but the tour would have been great even if the weather didn't cooperate. David put a lot of thought into the places he selected, and it ran very smoothly. All of the restaurant owners and managers were so pleasant and genuinely seemed happy to have us there. We would highly recommend this tour. In fact, we did recommend it to several in our group that we met in Carlsbad the next day. We also went to several of the places that David recommended during our stay in Carlsbad, and this tour was the perfect way to start our stay in such a beautiful city! I show the title of the tour being A Taste of Carlsbad if you are looking for it under Trip Advisor.

Great Food Tour - We planned our family trip for Mothers Day and our Tour guide Ben was so knowledgeable and made it fun. We will definitely be back. The restaurants chosen were very trendy and food delicious.

Birthday week vacation activity - Loved the food tour. Our host, David was great. Friendly and very informative about the history of Carlsbad. We felt like we were catching up with an old friend. Left feeling so full that we had to go for a long walk along the beach trail. We highly recommend taking the food tour. Well worth it.

Our tour guide David was friendly and so informative. He told us about murals, restaurants, local cuisine, and history. - Learning about the local favorites and history of the area made for an enjoyable day of food, walking, and learning! The food tour, accommodated food allergies, including gluten.
