- Spanish Bay - Offers a variety of restaurants, stunning views, and a world-famous golf course.
- Point Joe - As the 5th point on 17-Mile Drive, Point Joe features a coastline of granite rocks formed 65 million years ago, giving it a rugged appearance. Historically, its rocky shores near Monterey Bay have caused several shipwrecks. The area provides ample parking and seating benches for relaxation, along with informative boards about its history. The origin of the name “Point Joe” is debated; some historians suggest it was named after a Chinese man who lived in a driftwood structure here in the early 1900s, selling goods to explorers. It’s uncertain if the location was named after him or vice versa. This is an excellent spot to observe the Southern Sea Otter, a favorite marine mammal.
- China Rock - Visit the site of a former Chinese fishing village.
- Bird Rock Vista Point - Take a restroom break and watch sea lions frolic in the water. Your guide will help identify the wildlife and share interesting facts about both the animals and the rock.
- Seal Rock Creek Beach - Delight in the breathtaking view.
- Fanshell Overlook - Pause to search for sea otters at this picturesque lookout. Your guide will provide insights into the Cypress Point Country Club. Note: This stop is closed in the spring to protect the harbor seals pupping on the nearby beach.
- Cypress Point Lookout - Another opportunity to spot sea otters at this scenic viewpoint. Learn about the Cypress Point Country Club from your guide. On clear days, the Point Sur Lighthouse in Big Sur is visible.
- Crocker Grove - Home to the oldest and largest Monterey Cypress trees, where environmental challenges are discussed.
- Lone Cypress - Known historically as the halfway mark along 17-Mile Drive, this tree became the logo for Pebble Beach Golf Links in 1919.
- Ghost Tree - Offers breathtaking views of Point Lobos and Carmel Bay.
- Pebble Beach Golf Links - This is the longest stop of the tour, allowing guests to explore independently for about 30 minutes. Enjoy the beauty of Still Water Cove, learn about the golf course’s history, purchase a souvenir, or simply relax with a snack and warm beverage.
