Free, safe parking at private residence 1/4 mile SOUTH of Point Lobos entrance. Driveway is on the EAST side of Highway 1, across from the green mailboxes (look for the "Point Lobos Walks" sign on the east side). After passing the driveway gate, take the first left turn to the parking area.

Awesome - We loved our tour. It was so beautiful. Monica was so wonderful, so knowledgeable about the area. She knew all about the history. It was truly an awesome experience. Would recommend this trip.

Local treasure - Monica was s a treasure. So lovely and filled with authentic historical knowledge. Brought our hosts with us who live in mid-valley and they were thrilled to discover her for future guests.

Hope you enjoy this nature walk as much as I did! - We had a wonderful experience with Monica. She is an amazing historian which made the nature walk even mare interesting. Also, good communication, easy to find, great parking, and beautiful scenery made it my favorite activity while visiting the area.

Highlight of our trip to Carmel and Monterey! - Our Point Lobos hike with Monica was unforgettable. She showed us magnificent scenery, plant life, sea otters, and sea lions. Must do experience!!! - This was an amazing nature walk through the most beautiful place. Monica is a knowledgable guide with lots of historical information about the area. She even brings a scope to get close up views of sea otters and sea lions. The views were breathtaking!!!! Having a guide, especially Monica, made the hike a much richer experience. Highly recommend! And we would definitely do it again!!!!

Great experience - We did the hike through Point Lobos State Park with Monica and it was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and taught us so many things we never would have known if we had done the hike on our own. She also brought a tripod with a scope, which allows us to see the wildlife up close which again, We never would’ve been able to see without her. Our group was fun. She was wonderful and I would highly recommend this to anyone going to the area and wanting a full education and beautiful views of Point lobos State Park.

Wonderful tour! - We had a great tour with Monica. She was so knowledgeable in the history of Point Lobos and the surrounding areas. We saw so many beautiful vistas, flowers, and even sea lions. There hike was mostly flat, but there were a few areas with stairs and exposed rocks and roots. All in all, this was a great way to spend some time getting to know the area. Thanks Monica.
