Meet Cartagena as a pirate with La Fantastica - If you come to Cartagena do not miss the opportunity to tour La Fantastica. You don't have to queue, you get on the boat and immediately the magic starts. We did two tours with them, the sunset and the visit to Fort St. Louis. See Cartagena from the Bay and its history with interesting tales. Endless and delicious drinks. Pirates, ship cannons is very nice. Captain Joshua and his crew attended us and made us enjoy a while as if we were pirates! The price is super reasonable compared to the other boats. Maravilloso!

Sensational - The experience of the pirate ship was impressive.
The crew is really super professional, friendly and very pleasant.
The stopover at the Bocachica isla was also very well organized (lunch and appreciable spot, interesting visit of the fort).

Pirate Adventure in Cartagena: A Day of Magic and Memories - An absolutely unforgettable experience on the pirate ship in Cartagena! 🏴☠️⚓️ Everything was perfect from start to finish. The captain was incredibly friendly, the service was outstanding, and the crew was always smiling and helpful. The lunch on the nearby island was simply delicious — huge thanks to everyone who prepared that feast for us. 🌴🍹 The guide who took us around the fortress (wish I could remember the name!) was so knowledgeable and professional. With endless cocktails, breathtaking views, and the amazing atmosphere on board, it was truly an unforgettable day. Thank you to the whole team for such a magical experience! 🙌🌊

Forever a special place at sunset! - The guides were easy to find with shirts that had a logo of the ship and name. They were standing near the boat to make it easy. So look for boat then guides. They do leave at 530pm to make sure everyone is there. Lots of people showed up last minute because the dining ship wasnt the tour one. It's a smaller ship. The staff was aswome and spoke english. They were helpful and did do request for music. They do provide basic outfits. You can go dressed up as well. They also help with pictures. You do have access to the ship and lots of photo ops. Great sunset tour for a non packed boat! I'll go again when I come back!
Kid friendly and they provide achoclic drinks and nonalcoholic for minors. It's just rum which is better since it matches the theme. They make sure you get your monies worth. You can take your own drinks aboard as well.
I did have an odd request which they help pull off. It was a surprised proposal. At sunset with a beautiful view. To top it off they had us dressed up as pirates and shot at the dining ship with fireworks as it passed us by. Can't wait to visit again! Amazing and can't go wrong with this sunset tour!

My experience is very good. - I went with my husband, and we really enjoyed the trip, and the attention.

Exceptional! Memorable sunset - Exceptional moment! Warm welcome from the skippers!
It’s clear that they make this excursion with the desire to share something magical. Cocktails really very good and unlimited. We spent a memorable evening with my darling, we recommend it with our eyes closed.

Pirates Life for Me - Such a great experience!! The crew was really hands on and made us feel safe the whole time. Seeing the fortress and getting a tour guide to walk us through the grounds then to the beach was awesome. Be aware that the sun in Cartagena is STRONG. Make sure to wear lots of sunscreen and a hat on the boat/beach. There isnt a lot of shade on the boat so its important to stay protected ☀️

Mixed experience - We did the full day tour and had a mixed experience. We went on a Saturday in November and were surprised that we were the only two people booked for the tour that day. The guys on the boat were very nice and kept our drinks fresh. They did not speak much English, and there was very little information provided throughout the boat ride, but it was relaxing and fun. All of our time on the boat itself was enjoyable.
Things went downhill when we got to the island. Our "guide" for the fort was late, and we were not given an option if we wanted to tour the fort or not. Once he arrived, he was informative and showed us part of the fort but part of it was closed off for renovations so we were not able to see very much. Despite this, he demanded a large amount of tips from us and would not leave us alone until we paid up, for a tour that we did not ask for and could not even complete.
The beach we were brought to was not clean, and no other tourists were in sight. The two staff at the "beach club" were friendly but we felt uncomfortable there. Flies and other bugs were constantly around us, the beer cans provided us to drink were very dirty, and the bathrooms were the worst I saw in Colombia. We tried to make the best of it for a little while but eventually walked back to the boat and just sat on the boat for an hour until they were ready to take us back to Cartagena.
The whole trip would have been better without the beach, if we had just spent time on the boat the whole time. The guys on the boat were kind, and the drinks were good. The whole experience was just very different than what was advertised on their website, and we felt uncomfortable and out of place during the time on the island.
