- Carvalho Beach - The journey begins at the tranquil and secluded Carvalho Beach, where a safety briefing and instructions will be provided. Access to the beach is through an ancient tunnel carved into the rock. Here, visitors can admire the rock towers rising from Carvalho’s waters and its curving limestone walls.
- Praia de Benagil - After departing from Carvalho, the tour explores some hidden caves along the route, eventually arriving at the lively Benagil Beach. Here, the village’s rich fishing history can be observed.
- Benagil Cave - Just beyond Benagil Beach lies the renowned Benagil Cave, where there will be a stop to capture stunning photos of the famous “sinkhole” while learning about the historical, geological, and ecological significance of the Algarve region. Following the guide’s explanations, participants can either explore the cave independently or join the guide to discover fascinating hidden fossils. After approximately 30 minutes, the adventure continues with the guide’s assistance to exit the cave.
- Praia da Marinha - Upon leaving Benagil Cave, the tour paddles towards Marinha Beach, visiting more hidden caves and “sinkholes” along the way. Upon arrival at Marinha Beach, the group passes beneath the iconic Arches of Marinha, pausing for excellent photo opportunities before paddling back towards Carvalho Beach.
- Leixão das Gaivotas - If time permits and depending on the group’s interest, a visit to the “Island of the Smuggler” is included. Here, participants enter a vast tunnel within this rock formation and observe two beautiful holes in the ceiling, known as “the blue eyes.” Photos will be taken.
- Farol de Alfanzina/Alfanzina Lighthouse - After exiting the tunnel of the “Island of the Smuggler,” the majestic lighthouse can be admired. The tour then heads back to the beach, which is just a five-minute journey from this point.

Fantastic SUP with Pouco! - We thoroughly enjoyed our SUP experience! Our guide Pouco was patient while we tried to adjust to ocean paddling versus our usual lakes and rivers. We were a small group of 4, which was an added bonus. SUP was a great way to get right inside the caves. Beautiful!

Fantastic trip! - Fantastic experience! Our original paddleboard experience had to be changed due to strong swells but the company was very effective in reaching out and helping us a reschedule a kayak tour instead. Our guide Patrick was great and the tour was beautiful.

Great SUP tour with Pouco and Brotherootz! - We had a great time on our SUP tour with Pouco at the beginning of October! It was fun and Pouco was really insightful about the geology and ecology of the areas we were exploring. Definitely recommend doing the early tour before it gets too busy with the boats. Also Pouco's recommendations for things to do and see in the area was great!

Incredible sunrise SUP tour with Caio! - We had the loveliest time yesterday doing the SUP tour with Caio as our guide! The team brought everything you could need and we met at the car park at 06:30 before sunrise (definitely worth it). A brief explanation of paddle boarding as many of us had some sort of experience (we were a small group) - and then we headed off. Caio shared lots of facts about the sedimentary ‘algar’ formation and was very geologically knowledgeable. The tour took around two hours but I could have easily done another 2. Included in the fee are 4k photos which are downloadable a few hours after and they were great! We really enjoyed ourselves and couldn’t recommend Caio and the team more. Such a reasonable price for the experience, if you’re visiting the area please give it a go!

Great way to experience the caves and the Algarve coast! - Outstanding!! Our guy Patrick was incredibly friendly and gave great instructions on paddle boarding. He was also very knowledgeable and was great at communicating with us about the history of the geology of the Algarve and the caves. A true pleasure.!

Sup tour early morning - Beautiful experience.We chose the early trip in sup, a bit of sacrifice but worth it!Our guide Bruno, was very nice, explained interesting things and gave us good advices! we are waiting for the photos!

Great times on the tides! - My sister and I booked the 6:30am paddle boarding with Miguel and had a great time! Despite having the early start time, it being chilly, and it just being the two of us in the group, Miguel brought a lot of energy and put big smiles on our faces throughout the entire morning. Highly recommend the early time to see the sunrise and beat the crowds!

Best guide for the best tour! - We had the best experience with our amazing guide Patrick. Our small group both paddled through gorgeous landscapes and caves and learnt about geology and history. And thanks to his advice we had a great meal afterwards and went to the best beach we’ve seen so far in Portugal. O brigada Patrick!!

Beautiful relaxed paddle with Egas - Egas was the absolute best guide ever! He made us feel instantly relaxed and it was a really fun and chilled paddle. We visited 5 caves and Egas was very knowledgeable about geology, history and ecology. He timed the caves perfectly to avoid too many tourists and took amazing pictures. Fabulous tour 10/10 and Egas was the best!
