Meknes - After breakfast, travel through the Rif Mountains to Meknes. Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and continue to Meknes to explore the old Medina, surrounded by ramparts, including a visit to Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the green gate of Bab Mansour, and Lahdim Square.
Fes - Proceed to visit the Medina of Meknes, also surrounded by ramparts, before continuing to your riad in Fes.

Fes - Spend the day exploring Fes, starting with the old Medina, where you can wander through its narrow streets and marvel at its historical monuments, including Al-Attarine Madrasa, Ennajarine Fountain, Al-Qarawiyyine University, the oldest university in the world founded in 859, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After breakfast at a restaurant, visit ‘Fes Al-Jdid’, the new city. After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes before a brief visit to the new part.
Fes–Ifrane–Middle Atlas–Midelt
Ifrane - Departing from Fes, cross the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Ifrane. Enjoy the scenic views of Berber villages and Cedar forests along the way. Pass through Ifrane, often referred to as ‘Little Switzerland’ for its beauty, and Azrou.
Midelt - Spend the night in a hotel or Kasbah in the town of Midelt.
Midelt–Ziz Valley–Erfoud–Merzouga
Erfoud - Begin your journey from Midelt, crossing the Ziz Valley to admire the stunning natural views of palm trees. Upon reaching Erfoud, stop by fossil shops.
Merzouga - Continue to the desert town of Merzouga, arriving before sunset. Take a walk in the desert and climb a sand dune to watch the sunset.
Merzouga–Erg Chebbi–Merzouga
Erg Chebbi - Merzouga is rich in tourist attractions. Start by visiting Khamlia, home to a dark-skinned ethnic group who will welcome you with tea and traditional music. Next, visit the desert lake to observe various bird species. Drive across the plain towards Rissani and Tafilalte, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty. Explore fortified villages and souks. Return to the hotel in the afternoon to embark on a camel trek over the sand dunes. Watch the sunset before arriving at a desert camp in the heart of the desert. Enjoy the serene atmosphere, campfire, and Berber music performed by locals.
Merzouga–Todra Gorges–Ouarzazate
Todra Gorges - Rise early to witness the breathtaking sunrise. After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Todra Gorges, passing through Rissani and Tafilalt. Todra Gorges is a beautiful location with water flowing from rocky mountains into a lush valley.
Ouarzazate - Visit the charming town of Boumalne Dades and the ‘Rose Valley’, renowned throughout Morocco as the capital of roses due to its extensive rose cultivation, alongside apples, figs, corn, etc. The road is adorned with Kasbahs, giving it the name ‘the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs’. Overnight at a riad in Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate–Taroudant
Taroudant - Travel past Taznakht and Taliouine to reach Taroudant. Along the way, take the opportunity to visit saffron fields and meet local farmers. Arrive in Taroudant by the afternoon, where you can tour the Medina, surrounded by walls, and stroll through its streets.
Taroudant–Agadir–Essaouira
Essaouira - Head to Agadir, one of Morocco’s most visited cities, for lunch. Then take the scenic coastal road to Essaouira, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and Argan trees climbed by goats.
Essaouira–Marrakech
Essaouira - Start the day by visiting the seaport and the Medina, also known as ‘Skala’, where you can see old structures and cannons, as well as the museum of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah. Stroll through the market to admire a variety of products, including handmade items and local crafts.
Marrakech - Enjoy a seafood lunch before heading east to Marrakech.
