Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah:
Casablanca - The Moroccan private tour begins with a pickup at the airport in Casablanca (depending on your arrival location, it could be Casablanca or Rabat). In Casablanca, the first stop is the Cornish on the Atlantic coast and the iconic Hassan II Mosque, designed by French architect Michel Pinceau. If the flight arrives early in the morning, there is an opportunity to join a guided group tour of the Hassan II Mosque. This architectural marvel, perched dramatically on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, showcases the craftsmanship of over 6,000 Moroccan artisans.
Rabat - The journey continues to Rabat for lunch at a restaurant, followed by a guided walk around Oudaya’s Kasbah, constructed by Moulay Ismail from 1672 to 1727 to protect the city. Next, explore the impressive Hassan Tower, a gigantic mosque. Afterwards, visit the stunning Mausoleum of Mohammed V, known for its stained glass windows, white marble, and wrought-iron entryway. After the Rabat visit, the drive proceeds to Asilah along the coastal road.
Asilah - Asilah, built by the Portuguese in the 15th century, is an art hub known for its murals and the Moussem cultural annual festival. This fortified Atlantic town offers many attractions, such as the Skalla fortress. Overnight accommodation is provided in a Hotel/Riad.
Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen:
Chefchaouen Medina - After breakfast, the journey continues to Tangier, where there is an opportunity to visit the Kasbah Medina, Grand Socco, American Legation, and Cap Spartel, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, and explore the Hercules Cave. After a lunch break, the destination is the Blue City, Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, driving through the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is considered by many to be the most beautiful town in Morocco, perhaps in North Africa, known for its striking blue-washed buildings and its 15th-century fortress and dungeon. Visitors can explore its main square, Place Outa el-Hammam, and the ethnographic museum. In the evening, accommodation is provided in one of its magnificent Riads.
Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes:
Fes - After breakfast, the North Morocco tour resumes, heading towards Volubilis, the Roman Empire ruins in North Africa. Nearby Volubilis, there is a stop at the sacred village of Moulay Idriss, founded by Moulay Idriss, considered the origin of Moroccan imperial history. Visitors can walk around the village or even trek in the charming countryside, followed by lunch with views of the Roman ruins. After Volubilis, the journey continues to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, built by Sultan Moulay Ismail (1672-1727). Meknes was set to be the capital of Morocco, and its imperial palace, city walls, and kasbahs highlight the city’s historical significance. Meknes offers many places of interest, including El-Hddim Square, Bab El Mansour gate, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the imperial palace, and the royal granaries and stables. The journey proceeds to Fez in the late afternoon/evening, followed by dinner and a relaxing night in accommodation within the Medina of Fez.
Exploring Fes with a local guide:
Medina of Fez - At dawn, explore the UNESCO-protected Fez Medina with a private guide. The guide will assist in navigating the city and visiting its monuments and main attractions, including vibrant souks, the Qarawiyyin Mosque/University, Chouara Tannery, Bab Jeloud gates, and many other fascinating sights. A lunch break is included before continuing the city tour. Visitors may also want to visit Nejjarine Square and enjoy a mint tea on the roof terrace of Nejjarine Foundouk. The evening is free to explore the city at leisure and enjoy an imperial night in the imperial city.
Fes to Casablanca
Casablanca - The tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for the departure flight in Casablanca. Please note that transfer services are available if the departure flight is from another city besides Casablanca (Rabat, Fes, Tangier).
