Hassan II Mosque - Upon arriving at Casablanca airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our driver holding a sign with their name. During the drive through Casablanca, visitors will experience the port city and commercial hub of western Morocco, located along the Atlantic Ocean. In this delightful city, the Hassan II Mosque, the second largest functioning mosque in Africa and the seventh largest in the world, will be a highlight. The journey will continue to the renowned Rick’s Cafe, featured in the movie “Casablanca.” The drive will then proceed to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco.
Rabat / Ouazzane / Chefchaouen
Kasbah des Oudaias - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel riad, the exploration of Rabat begins. An informative local guide will ensure a memorable day in Rabat, showcasing the Kasbah des Oudayas and its stunning Andalusian gardens at the mouth of the Abu Regrag river. Originally constructed in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty, visitors will also see the incomplete Hassan Tower mosque, a main attraction in the capital, built by the same dynasty in the 12th century. Nearby, the mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II, with its remarkable architecture, will be visited. The journey continues towards Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco, via Moulay Bouslham and Ouazzane, crossing the picturesque Rif mountains. The drive through the countryside offers views of authentic villages, with opportunities for photo stops and lunch. Arrival in Chefchaouen is expected in the late afternoon.

Chefchaouen Medina - After breakfast at the hotel riad, the exploration of Chefchaouen’s medina and its alleys begins. Known as the blue city of Morocco, Chefchaouen is filled with cobalt-stained streets set against the majestic Rif mountains, rich in history. Established in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Rachid, it became a refuge for Moorish and Jewish settlers escaping the Reconquista of Spain. The town’s enchanting alleyways, painted in various shades of blue, offer a visually stimulating experience.
Visiting the Kasbah
The Kasbah, a historic fortress located in the main square, Place Outa el Hammam, features a beautiful garden and a small museum displaying local artifacts. Climbing the towers provides panoramic views.
Explore the Plaza Uta el-Hammam
This vibrant square serves as the social hub of Chefchaouen. It’s an ideal spot to relax, savor traditional Moroccan cuisine at a café, and observe the lively surroundings. The square is surrounded by cafes, shops, and historical buildings.
Chefchaouen / Volubilis / Meknes / Fes
Volubilis - After breakfast at the hotel riad, guests will be picked up for a journey to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where they can explore fascinating historical sites. The drive through the foothills of the Rif mountains leads to the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, dating back to 225 BC. Visitors will admire the most exquisite mosaics in Morocco, dating to the 3rd century BC. A guided tour of the site is included, enhancing knowledge of the Roman Empire.
The journey continues to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of the 17th century, where the gate of Bab Mansour, built by Sultan My Ismail in the 17th century, will be seen. A granary and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and planting, will also be visited. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before heading to Fes.
Explore Fes
Fes el-Bali - The exploration of Fes, the spiritual city of Morocco, begins today. Known as the country’s cultural capital, Fes is renowned for its Fes El Bali, or walled medina. The tour starts outside the medina to view the royal palace gate, followed by a walk through the Jewish quarter, or “the mellah,” the first Jewish quarter ever built in the country. The medina will be explored in the morning, visiting sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Medrasa Bouanania, the Karaouine mosque and university, the oldest university in the world built by a woman, the renowned tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. A visit to a fortress offers a panoramic view of the entire medina of Fes, followed by a visit to the pottery area to see the pottery cooperative.
Fes / Merzouga
Cedar Forest - Guests will be picked up from their accommodation in Fes to begin the southeast journey to Merzouga. The first stop is the town of Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture and nearby slopes and forests. The second stop is the cedar forest in Azrou to see Barbary apes. The journey passes through traditional Berber villages, offering interactions with local inhabitants. The drive showcases stunning contrasts, covering diverse landscapes. Lunch can be taken at any preferred time. As the journey continues south, the scenery becomes particularly beautiful where the Ziz valley meets the High Atlas Mountains, creating a breathtaking gorge. The drive includes several stops for photography and continues through welcoming Berber villages to Erfoud and Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty.
Merzouga area and camel trek
Merzouga Desert - After breakfast at the hotel, an explorative journey of the area begins. The day starts with Gnawa music at the village of Khamliya, 7 kilometers south of Merzouga, a small desert village with a rich history, inhabited by descendants of slaves brought from Sudan. Guests will enjoy their music and lifestyle.
A visit to the souk of Errissani is possible if it coincides with the market days, held three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, where locals trade essential goods.
In the afternoon, a guided camel ride, led by an experienced camel man, will explore and enjoy the sand sea of Erg Chebi. The camel man will ensure guests witness what may be the most spectacular sunset of their lives. Overnight accommodations are at a desert luxury camp equipped with flush toilets and hot showers, where dinner and breakfast will be served.
Merzouga / Todra Gorges / Dades Valley
Dades Gorges - The camel man will ensure guests wake up to witness a beautiful sunrise, as the sunlight covers the small golden sand dunes of Merzouga and the rocky barren Sahara Desert. After breakfast at the camp, guests can trek back by camel or opt for a 4-wheel drive back from the camp.
The journey continues to the Dades Valley for another exceptional day. The first stop is the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, where there may be an opportunity for an hour-long hike. After lunch, the drive continues to the Dades Valley, where the town’s beauty, including rock formations known as “monkey toes” and sand castles, will captivate visitors.
Dades Valley / Skoura / Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah / Imlil High Atlas Mountain
Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - After breakfast at the hotel, the drive begins to see one of the 17th-century Kasbahs still standing at the Oases of Skoura, a significant symbol for the region, the “Famous Kasbah of Amredil.” The journey continues to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” whose geography and stunning landscapes have attracted many world-class movie producers. Visitors may choose to visit the studios, containing props used in films such as The Mummy and Gladiator. The journey continues to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains in the 18th century, now home to many Glaoui people. The journey proceeds through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, continuing the drive to the suburbs of Marrakech, turning left into the mountains, passing Berber villages of Tahnaout and Asni on the way to Imlil.
Exploring the Imlil Area and leave to Marrakech
Imlil - After breakfast at the Kasbah, an explorative journey of the area begins, offering an opportunity to enjoy Berber culture. Guests can choose to hike for a few hours within the valley and admire the breathtaking views over the highest peak in North Africa. A walk to the village of Arumd, a small Berber village with a rich culture, is also included. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Marrakech.
Explore Marrakech
Marrakech - After breakfast at the hotel riad, an informative local guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby to begin exploring Marrakech, a former imperial city in western Morocco. Marrakech is a major economic center, home to mosques, palaces, and gardens, and is a densely packed walled medieval city dating back to the 12th century of the Berber Empire. The local guide will ensure visits to sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Coranic School, Koutoubia Mosque, and the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. Lunch will be enjoyed in one of the recommended restaurants in the area, followed by a drive to the new city to visit the beautiful Majorelle Gardens, including a short drive through the new city.
Marrakech to Essaouira
Essaouira - After a luxurious breakfast at the Riad, the journey to Essaouira begins, enjoying the views along the way. Traveling to Essaouira, a more relaxed town on the coast, includes several stops for photographs. As this is the land of Argan culture, there is an opportunity to visit a women’s cooperative of Argan oil, where the oil, famous for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties, is extracted. In Essaouira, visitors will explore the Skala Fortress, the port, the souks, and see Thuya wood carved by artisans. Walking through the medina’s alleys reveals hundreds of handicrafts.
Exploring Essaouira and drive back to Casablanca

Walking through the medina’s alleys reveals hundreds of handicrafts. Essaouira is known for its strong winds throughout the year, earning it the nickname “City of the Wind,” attracting surfers worldwide. Essaouira has experienced many civilizations, including Portuguese occupation, influencing much of its architecture, yet it remains a small village with a rich history. Its size and characteristic blue doors and washed walls have earned it the title of Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic.” The visit includes the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, and the beach. An annual “Gnawa music” festival attracts musical groups from Africa and around the world. Around 4 pm, the journey back to Casablanca begins, with an overnight stay after a 5-hour drive.
