Marrakech 6 day tour - We had an amazing time with our driver Yassin. He was very good to us and our kids and highly recommend him. He took us from Marrakech to Boumalne Dades, Sahara, Fez, chefchouwen and ended in tangier. He’s a great guy. He would call the places we stayed at before we arrived to make sure everything was ready for us.

Morocco 8 Day Tour - We enjoyed this itinerary with our driver, Ismail. Ismail drove very safely and always checked in on us to ensure we were okay. He made sure we were comfortable and was available if we needed him. He was kind, bought us coffee during the drive, shared some great music with us, and took photos of us! This tour is primarily for private transportation and lodging. It took the stress out of renting a car, driving, and booking the hotels ourselves. The guides at each stop will have to be booked separately. Ismail booked guides for us when we wanted them. The most amazing places for us on this itinerary were Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, and Ait Ben Haddou. We recommend booking a guide for Fes (because it is very easy to get lost) and Ait Ben Haddou (because the history is amazing). The drives were beautiful, passing through villages, cities, the Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara desert landscapes. The hotels that we stayed at were comfortable and had nice breakfasts. The camel ride in the Sahara was amazing! We had a great experience and made a lot of beautiful memories in Morocco.

9-day Morocco Cross Country Tour - We are a family of four who took a 9-day Morocco cross country tour with Starry Morocco Tours via Viator (8 Days 7 Nights Tour to North & Desert Adventure + 1-day Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech). Yassine was our driver for the entire trip. He was professional and courteous. Throughout the trip, he drove carefully, ensuring our safety, was available when needed, arranged local guides where necessary, and aimed to provide us the most amazing experience. With his extensive experience, he knew the most scenic spots on the route and stopped for photos at key locations. We appreciate Yassine for his efforts during our Morocco trip. Incredible 9 days in Morocco - We had amazing 9 days in Morocco, thanks to our driver Yassine. He guided us to beautiful itinerary spots and additional locations. Originally, we booked an 8-day tour with Starry Morocco Tours via Viator (8Days 7Night Tour To North & Desert Adventure) and added a day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls from Marrakech. Without Yassine we would have just wasted the spare day. Yassine coordinated with Ayman and scheduled the Ouzoud day trip for us with ease. Yassine ensured our safety, drove carefully through the Atlas Mountains, arranged local guides where necessary, and made sure we had an incredible experience. He frequently stopped for photos and was very professional and kind. I highly recommend Yassine for a safe and enriching journey in Morocco. Thanks Yassine and we shall return soon!

From Casablanca to Chefchaouen to Merzouga with an excellent driver - Our first time in Morocco brought us in contact with Yassine. He picked us up from our hotel at Casablanca and we saw his friendliness immediately. He has such a friendly smile and made us at ease. We were expecting long drives but Yassine made sure to stop for breaks, especially for clean toilets. He also gave us plenty of time to visit various places, meals, and shopping. During long drive up/down the mountain or desert, from point to point, Yassine drove safely while we all slept in the van. It must have been tiring to drive such long distances but Yassine does all that driving with a smile, even we wanted to make detours to see a solar farm, obtain medicine from a pharmacy or shop at a mall. We were fortunate to have him. This being our first time in Morocco, Yassine encouraged us to try various local food (from tanging to dates) and give the various hotels a try, and it turns out our daughter loves Morocco food. When we had local guides, Yassine would seek our feedback of the guide - to make sue we are treated well. When we wanted to change the schedule, he contact the office and took care of the arrangements. Yassine would also contact the hotel ahead of time, so that the hotel porters are there to help with our luggages. If you are ever in Morocco, ask for Yassine.

Excellent 8 days in Morroco. Feels like I need to come back to explore more with our driver Joseph - We had 8 wonderful days in Morroco thanks to our driver Joseph! He took us to all the beautiful places in the itinerary and even some spots not in the itinerary. He also took us to his home and made us some good Moroccan tea with dessert. My husband mentioned it was my birthday he even went to get me a surprised birthday cake. We felt safe and very well taken care of at all times in Morroco. Thanks Joseph and we shall return!

Great experience! (But some unexpected costs) - This experience was a good one, and we had a great time in Morocco! **NOTE: I do wish I'd realized a little more about how the tour worked before the trip, so a quick note on that first: there is plenty that is not included in the upfront price, which is totally fine if you're expecting it, but I think the way the listing is written makes it seem like more is included than is actually the case. For example, everything is listed as "free admission" in the itinerary, but many of the sites we visited do have admission costs (e.g. $10/person at Volubilis, $8/person at Ourzazate, $35/person for an [optional] tour of Fez, etc.). We also felt there was an expectation of tipping at most places even if the tour itself was technically free. The day tour at Fez (which we did with Raja, and it was awesome!) is also not included ($35/person). Again, none of this is bad, just was unexpected for us based on the way the listing was written. I would say to estimate an additional $40-$60 USD per person per day in tips, admission costs, food etc.** Now, on to the great parts. Our driver, Abdel, was fantastic! Always on time and very accommodating to anything we needed. He talked with us when we wanted and let us sleep while he drove when we were too tired. He is an expert driver and kept us safe on the roads. It's also obvious that he has a lot of connections with the riads, restaurants, tour guides, etc. on the route, and we felt that we got great service partially because of the way he talked with the staff at each place we went to to get us settled. The night in the desert (New Year's Eve) was a night to remember--a camel ride, getting to meet fellow tourists from at least 4 other countries, sitting around the fire singing songs together, and ringing in the new year in the middle of the Sahara. A highlight for sure! The tour of Fez with Raja was also a highlight. Getting to see the souks and learn more about the process of making mosaics and perfumes was super fun for us. Raja is an expert guide and again, she has many connections that made the tour as awesome as it was. This tour is fast paced with a lot of time in the car. We definitely left tired but also having experienced a great sampling for our first time visiting this wonderful country. We had a good experience overall and are grateful to Abdel, Ayman, and Starry Morocco Tours for a great introduction to Morocco.
