CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - FES

Casablanca - Embark on a brief sightseeing tour of the legendary Casablanca. Then proceed to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to explore the lively Medina (old city) and the minaret of the Hassan Tower.

Rabat - The tour will also cover the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the impressive and evocative Oudayas Kasbah, and the Mechouar ramparts surrounding the Royal Palace. Afterwards, depart for Meknes, the imperial capital at the end of the 17th century.

Volubilis - Visit the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis, featuring its mosaics and temples. From there, continue to Moulay Idriss, the cliff-top holy city of Islam.

Fes - Finally, arrive in Fes for check-in at your hotel or riad.

FES CITY TOUR

Fes - Journey through the far reaches of Morocco’s eastern perimeter to within 20km of Algeria’s border, where you will encounter the magnificent Erg Chebbi dune landscape. Morocco’s most renowned Saharan dune is simply breathtaking and soul-stirring. On foot or camelback, you have the option to venture into the remote dunes to reach your Nomadic-style camp hidden in the sands. An evening sunset climb to one of the higher dunes is customary, followed by dinner and possibly a campfire experience with Berber songs and storytelling.

FES - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT AND CAMEL RIDE

Ifrane - Today, the journey through Morocco continues towards Ifrane, through hills covered in forests of cork oak and giant cedar, home to a few Barbary apes.

Midelt - After lunch in Midelt, head south to Erfoud and Rissani, a vast oasis containing over six million palm trees, bordered by numerous ksours. Continue along a striking route that marks the transition to desert, reaching Merzouga.

Merzouga - Be welcomed with a glass of tea. There will be time to relax before preparing to ride camels into the pink sands of Morocco’s highest dunes. Enjoy wandering the dunes before sunset. Dinner is served, followed by traditional music and an overnight stay in a nomad tent.

MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT - RISSANI – TODGHA GORGE - DADES GORGES

Merzouga - Rise early to witness the spectacular sunrise, when the color of the dunes combines with the play of shadows to create an awe-inspiring sight. After breakfast, ride the camels for a couple of hours before departing for Tinghir and Todra Gorges for lunch.

Gargantas del Todra - The road passes through Tinejdad and the Todra Valley. This stunning area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, such as along the river through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorge.

Boumalne Dades - Later, continue to the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges before spending the night in a hotel.

DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - TIZI N’TICHKA - MARRAKECH

Vallee Des Roses - After breakfast, travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is known as the way of the thousand kasbahs, offering numerous opportunities to capture some of the best photographs of the trip.

Ouarzazate - Explore the valley of roses and the cinema city of Ouarzazate, passing by Ait Benhaddou Kasbah.

Ait Ben Haddou - Discover the largest Kasbah in Morocco, then proceed to cross the high Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views and charming Berber villages along the way to Marrakech.

Marrakech - Conclude the Morocco Sahara tour with a professional travel company in Marrakech.
